  1. Their ACHA team is D1 and ranked which is certainly another plus. Four teams on the front range would be great for westward expansion.
  2. There's an ice rink in their campus recreation center as well that they could use for practice. Believe their club teams play there currently.
  3. He'll be lucky to sniff the NHL let alone get a couple seasons like his brother. Jeff > Adam
  4. Great life* *in flyover country where I need to find otherwise to look down upon
  5. Was Wade Allison an early commit to Western, or did his stock rise his draft year? He's from out recruiting territory. Glad to see them back as a contender. Hopefully fans pay more attention after their bowl game.
  6. Seamus Donohue commits to Tech. Was originally AFA commit. Not living up to what was expected of him though. STA/North Oaks kid turned out soft, surprise!
  7. Indeed, I caught myself being disappointed that they lost to OSU due to pairwise implications. My schadenfreude for them can't overpower the potential RPI shifts.
  8. Did you acknowledge what I mentioned about them struggling with AHA teams? Three games is a larger sample size than one...i.e. a "trend" like you stated. Enjoy your lonely, miserable life. The fan base you try to associate with rejects you and mocks your obsession with UND.
  9. Ohio State is not a top team, they struggled with two AHA opponents. Their program will see an appearance in the tournament as a success, maybe even hang a banner for it like Clown.
  10. Anyone know how to block a user when on phone? Sick of being subjected to this moron and his logical fallacies, insecurities and ramblings.
  11. Need to forget about the championship last year and everyone other than Gersich to break out of their sophomore slump. Leadership goes without saying.
  12. If Simo crashed the net properly last night he and Wilkie end up on the highlight reel. Having an A didn't prevent St. Clair from sitting last year. And yes I realize he came back from injury and that messes with chemistry.
  13. We've had a few of these losses the last few years; St Lawrence, Bemidji, Wisc all stung but didn't prevent a postseason berth. Let's hope this wakes them up for good like those all seemed to. Posts calling out the lack of team leadership are spot on.
  14. Embarrassing loss. Stripes didn't help but can't blame weak goals on them. Why Cam wasn't yanked is questionable. We aren't DOA in pairwise, but it's still not where we should be.
  15. It's all fine and dandy to espouse this as a spectator, but I doubt this was the picture the coaches painted for him during recruiting, and it won't be hard use that to plant that seed of doubt in another youngster's head. Young minds are easily malleable. This isn't some full blown problem to be afraid of, just an observation in this post-truth world. (Insert dry humor emoji here) I'm less concerned that Cam is getting all the starts than I am about the 3rd string status. Wasn't Hrinkyw (sp) brought in with the same role in mind as what Tate was? Maybe Tomek pulled a Youngblood with a coach's daughter or something, there's a behind the scenes story for sure.
  16. https://novacapsfans.com/2016/11/19/meet-the-prospect-shane-gersich-he-is-on-fire/
  17. His situation could be used against us in recruiting high end goalies in the future. Curious how much Flyers owning his rights has to do with his willingness to wait his turn. Whoever owns his CHL import rights has gotta be in his ear.
  18. ESPN accidentally called them MNSU-D one year during the bracket show, glad we're not the only one they screw up on.
  19. Surprised Dave isn't here imploring us to fear the vastly improved Big 10.
  20. St Cloud just got Duluth'd: shut out at home for the weekend. They didn't look bad, but they definitely lost some fire power.
  21. Stream is fine on mine but delayed five plus minutes. CHN app notified of Gersich's second as Gardner's penalty is shown on the screen.
  22. I happened to be walking around downtown Boise that Saturday afternoon (game was at 2pm or something) and was really impressed by the amount of fans hanging out at the Plaza outside. Tickets were $15 too, more than you would expect for a club game. If their football team was in town or was playing a formidable opponent on national television it would have been a different story though.
