Denver and CC are getting calls as soon as UNLV and someone else out west starts a team. Many of the teams stumbled out the gate for sure, but the B1G improved in a hurry. It'll pain me to see their conference logo on a UND jersey, but less so than anything that isn't the Sioux logo

We've got a great pro arena in Portland. Don't be surprised if Paul Allen buys the Coyotes on a fire sale after next season. Unless it's the very early season or frozen four the likelihood of rain is too high to suggest the northwest though.

Why Boise? I think anywhere that's warm during the season would be preferable.

It's not due to the beliefs he espoused. I'm more fiscally conservative than anyone I know. It's not setting the right example as a captain of a high profile program. If a white kid from GF was taking a knee I would laugh at him.

I would find that less disrespectful to the anthem than yelling "SIOUX" at the end of the song.

Gage had a lengthy political chat with a college hockey writer that in my opinion reflected poorly upon him and the program. Not a good idea in a public forum with a C on your jersey.

I only bring it up because it's the only time I've noticed him this year. Granted I'm only able to watch at most ~50% of games. Won't miss Gage one iota when he's gone. An embarrassment to the program between his lack of passion and embarrassing social media presence.

He struggled mightily in the game he played against the Gophers. Luckily that's ancient history now.

He's the Fred Phelps of college hockey. Shows up at places where he disagrees with everyone's beliefs (Sioux and NCHC have a good thing going) and makes ridiculous and inflammatory statements trying to help everyone "see the light" (Big 10 is superior!). Instead he ends up being mocked and embarrasses those with whom he shares a doctrine (Gopher fandom). Hopefully he doesn't die quite as reviled as Phelps was on his death bed though...
