Based on the Miami team I saw the last time we played them in their barn, a three game series against them will not do much more to prepare this team for St Paul in March or April than a Saturday morning public skate.

No change to coaching staff.

Omaha coach another guy that Chaves could consider when the Bubba gig is finally up.

Yea he’s good but was totally untested. His D protects him too. Would have liked to see Blake and others keep shots lower and maybe there woulda been more rebounds. Ludvig is a rebound machine.

They talked the entire intermission to Schlosmann about why the regionals should be switched back to campus. Hasn’t the NCAA announce they will be chang d starting in 2026?

Maybe that’s what our regular PK looks like against a bad team.

That was the most physical game I have seen out of the team that I have seen for some time. Maybe DU brings it out in is, but it made our defense up and down the ice so much more effective. Both our forwards ad D men were taking the body very effectively. No big hits drawing penalties-just good solid hockey. And DU don’t like it.

I got the notice of the weekly Champion Club lunch in GF this week. I didn’t notice DU coach Carle on the speaker agenda. I live out of state and have never been to one of these lunches, but remember seeing that the opposition coach was sometimes invited. I saw a video of Gwazdecky speaking to the group once.

We have been fortunate on the injury front. Strinden and the other guys down the line chart will get their chance if we start having injury problems.

I was encouraged by seeing our guys take the body at key points down the stretch.

Hope we are better at 4/4 than 3/3
