These announcers way underestimating DU chances. They are always tough and have good coaching. I wouldn’t be happy with a one goal lead much longer.

Nice win for Miami last night I’ve WMU.
-
No doubt

We have to control the puck and the game a little better.

2 goal lead. Worst lead in hockey.

Boesser and Stecher?

I would not be surprised if Karl G started to attract some interest as college DI vacancies might occur. He has been a tremendous addition to the staff. I don’t see Berry going anywhere anytime soon, but if he did I think Karl would be first in line.

That depends...did you mean to type UND and typed UNO by mistake?
Nope meant UNO. It is 50 miles from Lincoln and part of the NE university system.

Seems like both UND and DU could easily end up being number one seeds and would therefor be in separate regions??

Wouldn't it be ironic if D1 hockey took off in the SEC before it ever does in the PAC? With ASU going D1 we hear about other PAC schools kicking the tires, and hockey has really grown out West, but the PAC schools are hurting for money because of bad TV deals. The SEC is flush with cash and there are some ACHA club programs in the SEC with good followings. I could legitimately see some SEC schools starting D1 programs.
You can only build so many football and baseball facilities. At some point you have to spend that money in order to keep your tax exempt status.
I still think the Big Ten needs to really put some pressure on Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana to start D1 programs. All schools have facilities in place, under construction, or have plans for facilities in various stages.
Did the Big Ten ever or would they consider UNO for Big Ten hockey membership?

Do we know hot to go into neutral zone trap mode with the lead like some of Hakstols teams?

Watching this St Cloud MD game while waiting for Nodak to start. What excuse do they have in St Cloud for all the empty seats?

Keep the scores coming. Had to leave the broadcast for family obligation.

Good to see Drake Caggiula skating again with the Blackhawks after concussion time off. Two points last night for him.
Great steal and breakaway goal by Drake last night

Omaha had a good recruiting year. Good young coach and talent. Will be a better second half team. Sioux need to stick together. Bubba took a reasonable chance pulling the goalie.

I don’t think Adams got much wood on it.

Our power play is horrendous. It doesn’t really appear much improvement has been made. Goerhing needs to rethink this one. Perhaps we are doing the reverse Hakstol where we do great in the first half and fizzle in the second.
A little early for that thinking!

Replay the Hak stare to these guys in the locker room.

The team has spent a couple of weeks reading and thinking about how good they are

Jim Montgomery checked into alcohol rehab this week.

Did the team make it back to Grand Forks from Michigan yet? Hope they didn’t or don’t take a lot of chances with roads, travel, etc.

RIP Wooger
i am sure I am not the only person on this board who heard Woog during a broadcast of one of the last games the Sioux played the Gophers before they left the WCHA. Woog cautioned that the Gophers better tighten up their chin and jockstraps because the Sioux always come to play. And play hard. He went on to say that “I can’t believe we are giving this up”, referring to the Gophers imminent departure from the WCHA and specifically, the rivalry with North Dakota. He had immense respect for us even though he really wanted to win against us. He loved the rivalry.

Totally agree with that. Lazy stuff on the breakout.
