Good question. His dad is a Sioux legend.
Blais relationship with Dixon probably had something to do with it

Why didn't UND offer Ward?

Based on that horrible boarding call against Rieger last game, there is not much point in playing “smashmouth “ hockey anymore in this league. Refs wouldn’t have given that a second look 10 years ago during the Hakstol years. Really shouldn’t have attracted a second look even in today’s game. Greene, Smaby, McWilliam and a host of others wouldn’t have a place in today’s NCHC.

Miami playing and passing well

Definitely worth adding a stud desperate to play this year after transfer students were granted immediate eligibility. Gotta be an Ivy senior that graduates at semester or something.
There well could be somebody like this out there who is more than a grinder. Don’t know how we would find that person but I’m sure they can get the word out

From what i saw on the replay the SCSU defender put himself there and the UND forward did not put any force to shove him into the net besides both players own momentum. Looked like the SCSU momentum took him into the goalie. Seen alot more contact be called a goal due to defenders own actions.
With as soft as majors have been, you would think their goal reviews would be softer too...guess notLooked like a bad icing call too

Stick check again. Pee Wee hockey stuff
-
Nice to see Hain pot one. Maybe that will get him going

I have been absolutely amazed at the extent of the stick checking the past several years, missing the puck and having the guy skate around us. I just would think Berry and Jackson would have the team trained out of this by the time we get to this point. Results in way too much time and space.

Karl G not doing a great job with this goaltending group either.

Team and coaching staff living a lie.

St Cloud faster than us.

Maybe Feeney next in goal.
we sure could use some goal scorers

I meant the Refs

If the REA had made this interference call against Duluth the other night we would have been on the PP all night

Let Thome play. Living here in Denver I have seen DU win a lot of games and championships using two goalies during regular season. It’s even more valuable in this pod situation.

I think the coaches keep 29-22-17 together. Then again, anyone can play with 22-17.
Hain and Senden are great together, gotta find the third guy. Cole Smith mentality please.
Didn't get on the score sheet, but 21-14-28 was for 60 minutes our best line. Might have been Keane's best game. Don't have a finisher on that line, but they can grind away shifts in the offensive zone.
Keaner deserves more icetime.

Couldn’t have been prouder of those guys on the OT penalty kill if they were my own sons.

Their PP looks way better than that last one of ours.

I have never had the nchctv, and I had never seen the midco broadcast...with that being said, is Jake Brandt always this terrible to listen to?
English is second language.

Looking better now. As long as we are number one at end of year.

I hate being number one ranked team. These guys spend too much time reading the press reviews. They won’t be number one for long playing like this.

So far shuffling lines not doing anything.
Might as well put them back the way they were. I thought it was a good idea but it isn’t working
Pod style game 9-A nooner with Duluth.

Too much not great passing. It’s be fine if they could hit a teammates stick once in awhile. Ditto on the Duluth clutching and grabbing.
