Sorry Duluth, the extra Penrose Cup is staying in the suitcase. -
I'm watching oxbows favorite channel right now, CNN. Elons tweet might to helping change the coronavirus narrative already. Show host went on a long rant about how he hasn't changed any of his plans. Told his son to go on spring break. Hes still traveling all over the country. Then they showed the Elon tweet. Then showed another blue check mark guys tweet about how the fear has become greater than the disease. And now brought on a Harvard physician who wrote an article about how the coronavirus might not be nearly as deadly as originally thought. COVID-19 Isn’t As Deadly As We Think

Coming from a guy with a lot of f you money and often tells things like it is. People are absolutely influenced by media hysteria. Everyone sees it.
-
There was also a quote later from a coach(?) as saying in hindsight they regretted not celebrating with the cup that year. And moving forward were going to encourage the team to enjoy future ones.
-
I don't think Berry is going to play musical goalies this late in the season.
-
UND too scared of catching coronavirus tonight.
-
So the Penrose Cup will be in Duluth tomorrow I assume?

How many different teams in the NCHC can UND fans claim to be Jan Brady Diving Teams? -
Pairwise Killer; a fun term to throw around when losing to crap teams. Which usually results in hurting your pairwise ranking. Antonym: Pairwise Bump.
-
As pointed out. The PC way of saying it is "The refs are going to err on the side of caution when allowing a goal when goalie interference seems likely."
-
The Interception Touchdown!
-
I think that's the point. We all did ask a college ref on Friday. And after reviewing it he said "no goal." Or maybe just because you're a ref doesnt really mean you get calls right? This is SiouxSports where us amateurs share our opinion and debate back and forth. If you dont think my opinion is as valuable as your hockey ref buddies that's fine. That's for you to decide. Maybe you want me to write "*my amateur opinion only*" after everything I write? Maybe that would make you feel better? Or better yet maybe we can get some blue checkmarks like twitter. We can all send in our hockey resumes. And Jim can let us all know who the experts are and who to listen to.
-
Then you have to believe the refs made the correct call on Friday. Anyone who questions that referee is "biased" nor have the "expertise" to say otherwise.
-
We also saw a "high level ref" reverse a goal on Friday at UND after reviewing it even.
-
Fair enough.
-
I just play an expert on SiouxSports. Played hockey. Never reffed. I know some crappy high school basketball refs who never played basketball. Small town part time job guys who's daughter plays. Means nothing to me. "Experts".
-
Ask them if they think taking out another player without the puck is interference?
-
It's obvious you're not the best at comprehending what you see or read. You know a slash can land on a stick right?
-
"Pairwise killer" doesnt mean it bumps you out of the playoffs. "1st to 18th place in one game!"
-
Momentum from swing slides down from middle of stuck (initial contact) to the end of the stick ("blade" part). Your glasses are even thicker than I thought!
-
I think you're right. There is a lip. Maybe have to opt for mixed drinks and straws next time. "Fishbowl" style.
-
Now that's how you celebrate!
-
1) Kawa stick in the air about to come down. 2) The slash complete. Western player still on his feet. 3) Kawa still has him pinned down. Knee finally about to touch. 4) Western player losing his balance from Kawa pushing and holding him down. 5) Kawa on the western players back right before he slides into the goalie. Green colored glasses dont see the slash? Clearly interference by Kawaguchi.
