So why aren't we ahead of SDSU?

Why do UND football fans want to compare their program to NDSU's? Let's look at a more reasonable benchmark: Why can't UND compete on the same level as SDSU, an average-at-best football program in DII? How did UND manage to fall below what SDSU has accomplished in football? The Jacks got into DI more for basketball, not football. Yet they've managed to become a contender in football with their DII coach. What has stopped UND doing the same? (If you're going to go with a usual drivel answer, please don't.)

Angle of seating to field means field gets narrower (or you can't see full width of field). In a word ... Nope. And they want that floor at the plane it's at in case the unspeakable happens again so they'll have high, covered, dry space for staging or shelter.

So many putting two freshmen on a forward line together; maybe against the Manitoba Bisons but not before Christmas or until they prove themselves.

Bubba is not AD material. He'd be better off in a fundraising role. Frankly, the track record of coach to AD at UND isn't great (Thomas, Gasparini). College athletics today is a business. And the AD is running people and budgets. I'd rather a business minded person with some athletic background as the AD.

It need be done. I'm concerned about the "where used" list in the link because it reads just like collegiate licensing. That's not coincidence I suspect.

Pondering this more ... would UND so sly, devious, and cunning as to hire a firm to trademark the name quietly under an agreement to later transfer the ownership ...

I believe you "own" plurals with the singular. (Lawyers will correct me.)

A simple search of the USPTO(.gov) office says someone already has ... and it's not explicitly UND. And the lists of items they use it on reads like what UND lists for where it uses its trademarks.
