NorthDakotaHockey
A nice answer to all of the talent scouts on this board who have been unfairly riding Chorney for his play so far this year. It is well obvious, even to a largely clueless chap like me, that Chorney has been rock solid all year long and will be an integral part of this team's success from here through April. All aboard! The bus to Saint Paul, Colorado Springs, and Denver, Colorado is starting to fill up. Chorney is going to be driving the bus this year. Old Time Hockey
Good to see Taylor put the puck in the net this weekend. He has been rock solid this year, but in saying that I have to believe that he has been a little disappointed in his play this year. Hope he keeps it up and we start rollin'. The schedule is set up for the team to make a run here in the next several weeks. Denver is the only team left on the schedule that should be able to play with us if we get on a roll. HaksHomey
Awesome. Hopefully this accomplishment along with the last 3 games are indications that the team is now in the traditional 2nd half mode

Now that these guys know what a sweep feels like, things could be very fun for the next 90 days or so. They have a real possibility to get 10 more conference wins before the Final 5. That would make for a very high seed.

redwing77
Actually, I don't think Chorney's been flamed that much. Just criticized. And the criticism only happens occasionally. It's not like Brian Lee's situation where every other post seemingly either called for his benching or called for his signing or perhaps called for Brian to give up hockey and take up bagging groceries at SuperOne Foods. I don't think all of the criticism of Chorney is fair, but it is nowhere near the kinds of player bashing this board has witnessed the past few years. I haven't been a vocal Chorney critic, but I do understand that his preseason expectations were Oshie-big. He hasn't been a detriment, but he also hasn't lived up to some of the hype. AZSIOUX
one player i have been a little critical at times towards has been kyle radke. i love what kyle has done to get back in the lineup after almost a month without playing and he has came back and playe some very solid hockey. i dont mind penalties but its all about timing in penalties and so forth. kyle has been very solid the last 3 weeks and to have someone of his size and strength in there every night will be solid for this team. zach jones as well. i love the overall makeup of the team. we have a few players in and out with miller and martens but that happens with all teams really. cant wait til these landcow games as i hope the sioux put a serious butt whoopin on them down there and get 4 more points and keep it rolling

Radke has been an impact player over the last several games! Jones has been great shutting down the opposing team in our end. Miller is in the line-up one game, out the next only to be added to the Duncan/Oshie line. I don't get it? Oshie and Duncan were all but shut down this weekend. Say what you will about the other teams putting their best defensive unit out against them, but I think it has to do with Miller. The kid might have talent, but he lacks the ability and/or desire to do the dirty jobs along the boards. I hope Hak gets someone else on that line to help Dunc and Osh. Darcy has looked great along the boards lately. He wins most of the battles on the boards, but has very little to show for it on the score sheet. I think he will continue to improve this season and will be a Porter/Kaip type player his last two seasons!

I noticed how poorly Chorney played against UNH and how well he played against Tech. Based on the change I would suspect that he did too...
