kfah1 Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 You may have seen it already, but if not... USA Hockey is promoting their Hockey Weekend Across America in February through a variety of mediums, one being a television commercial which I see repeated on the NHL Network. There is a Sioux Fan shown in the commercial (not sure if it's at the REA or at this past Frozen Four). Didn't know if anyone could identify the Sioux fan or if it may be one of our own SiouxSports.com posters. Regardless, I thought it was pretty cool that the Fighting Sioux were represented in the ad. http://usahockey.cachefly.net/HWAA2008VideoPromo.mp4 I attached the link to the video. It's an MP4 so you'd need Quicktime to run it. Hopefully it works. Go Sioux!! Quote
Goon Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 wasnt that the commercial that was on the NHL network. If so I saw that this past weekend. Quote

Sioux-cia Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 The Sioux fan must be at the FF4. I see a Maine banner hanging behind him from the upper level over his left shoulder. I don't recognize him, kinda hard to do from that upward angle. Quote
morley Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I believe that is Jon Loveseth former UND Student Body president and an original member of the Green Hair' um!! From the angle it is tough to tell, but it is the same style of wig that he wore. Quote

mikeypat15 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 It sure does look like John Lovseth. I do not know him but I recognize him from various Sioux games on television. Frozen Fours, Final Fives. Seems to travel well. Quote
