Fetch
I was wondering if articles in the GF Herald (foolum lite) could be linked to, so as not to have to register to read them ? or link & Copy & Paste the article ?
jimdahl
As far as I can see, their system allows you 1 free view of a single article then forces a login. I don't see any links, or any way to construct the links, that behave differently. We can only link to what they offer -- reproducing their content would be stealing the advertising revenue they receive when you view stories in the context in which they choose to present them. Lots of people on the Internet try to share logins to such sites to avoid divulging any actual personal information, though lots of sites prohibit the use of such IDs. You're on your own interpreting the rules of the Forum sites if you choose to pursue that path.
Fetch
It's not that I care if they know who I am (& I do know & have used some proxy servers) I just find it irritating to have to log in all the time
rochsioux
You can read more than one article without logging in. You just need to delete your cookies after you open an article.

A lot of browsers have (internally or via extensions) the ability to block cookies from specific domains. If you want to refuse cookies from a specific single server, you could look into that, too.
