Yttrium
Uhm, isn't it Chris Porter St. Louis Blues? I thought Mike Prpich was golfing too? Sorry for the typo. Yes, PORTS did sign w/ the Blues but was a free agent at the time of the event. At poster production he was still property of Chicago. Rumor has it the event will shift to Grand Forks next summer. Just a rumor though. As well as Seattle, WA, and Vermillion, MN, on the Bois Forte Indian Reserve. Details forthcoming.

Yttrium
The dates are being discussed w/ golf courses and summer golf schedules. It is looking like the end of July after the hockey schools are over for Grand Forks event. Potential dates are July 23rd or 30th. Seattle date is set at August 14-16 held at Kayak Pointe Golf Course in Marysville, WA, with the potential of celebrities staying at the newly built Tulalip Tribes Resort & Conference Center adjacent to the Casino built in 2003. It is one of the largest casinos in WA and has the Seattle Outlet Center located on the grounds along with a amphitheater where they host large concerts. The tie in to the concert will by planned with the Celebrity Golf Tourney. Dates for Bois Forte Nations Tourney will be in late June 2008. More details will be updated soon. PCM
There was a shady looking character in my neighborhood this evening selling hockey sticks autographed by current and former Fighting Sioux players, as well as others. I normally don't buy anything from people selling fish, steaks or hockey sticks door-to-door, but he said it was for a good cause. Plus, Sappysieve let him into his yard. So I bought one and this is what it looks like: If you want to see a larger, high-resolution version of this photo, click here.

PCM
So what you're saying is that people shouldn't wait for a shady door-to-door hockey stick salesman to visit their residence.
Yttrium
Exactly PCM. It will be a chance for people to see them in person and what a beautiful job Christian Hockey did in Warroad making these sticks. Credit goes to Rick Pomplun and Jolyn Landin at the factory. Christian Hockey was very generous to the 2007 Hockeytown USA Celebrity Golf Tourney. Yes, they are still selling "WOOD" hockey sticks and this old salesman might be knocking down the doors of youth hockey associations across North America with a great product that at one time was the leading hockey stick manufacturer in the world. Kids under 12 should be using wood sticks over composites due to a better feel for the puck while stickhandling and shooting at a younger age. Plus, the sticks can be totally customized to the players liking. Shoot me a message if you should have any ?'s.
THETRIOUXPER
So what you're saying is that people shouldn't wait for a shady door-to-door hockey stick salesman to visit their residence. That's ironic, a well known member of published media calling someone else shady. Honestly, the sticks are moving fast, so don't wait if you are thinking about getting one. (They make great gifts for the hockey fan, and Christmas is right around the corner .)
