Jeremy_und2004
Hi, I will have to be in Georgia for federal training from September until January and I wanted to know what options are out there on getting to watch Sioux Hockey. I should have internet access, but I am unsure what type of cable TV will be available. Couldn't be worse timing seeing I basically miss most of the season with season tickets. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Buy and install an FTA KU band satellite system and point it at the 93W satellite (no other way to get the Sioux in Georgia), or, buy Sioux Xtra and watch all the games on satellite on streaming video via the internet. Sounds like you're headed to spend with winter living with the sand fleas at FLETC (Glynco), Sioux Xtra

Bin
I'm confused (natural state). I have a dish for FSSN games. Are the streaming video games on Sioux Xtra going to available on my dish?

The games that will be streamed (Sioux Xtra subscription) are the same home games you will get on FSSN via satellite or cable.

FSSD
I am interested in buying tickets, PM me with what you have available. Plus, I just purchased my season pass to webcasts. It is not bad.... plus Denver, AA, SCSU and Mankato have webcasts. So, you can see about 60% to 70% of the games.

What are you in for? My wife was at Glynco for 3 weeks and hated it with a passion. At least you will be down there in the winter.
Siouxdonyms
Don't expect much for televised hockey in Georgia. I live in Tennessee, and if it isn't related to football or basketball, you won't see much of it. I have Dish Network's sports package, which allows me to see them when they play Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Denver (sometimes when it's convenient for them). I'm planning on getting the FSSN sat for this season. If that doesn't go through, I'll go with the plan established by UND.

sprig
I've done two stints at FLETC, what an awful climate, mine were shorter than the current training. Was there a year ago for a week, it was hard to watch the long term students suffer in that humidity, although they canceled outdoor activities/training on a couple of the days due to the heat.
