siouxnami
Phil has certainly gotten his share of crap on this board over the years, some of it very deserved. But, I don't think you can be a hockey fan and not respect what Phil did this year. Congratulations on earning this award, and best wishes for continued health. http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/bruins..._the_masterton/
Sioux-cia
Congratulations!! It's always good to see a WCHA hockey player receive kudos for 'a job well done'. Especially fantastic when it's a cancer surviver. Shows the kid has a strong character as well as great hockey skills.
happy
and ex-wcha player Paul Stastny was second in rookie of the year.
Diggler
It'll be two in a row next year when Toews, EJ or Brian Lee win it.

redwing77
and ex-wcha player Paul Stastny was second in rookie of the year. Not bad for a guy who didn't evidentally deserve to be at the NHL Young Stars game.... instead that Russian nobody went (no, not AO... Radulov I think it was). No offense to Radulov (if that was his name) but if these two were available for my team, I'd choose Statsny and feel much better for it. Well, maybe next year those who select those players will get their heads out of their collected butts and name Statsny to the team to compliment Zajac, Toews, and whomever else rightfully deserve it.
