jk
Bochenski 34 plus Parise 26. Parise has hard-lucked his way out of about five more, with pipes and referees, while Bochenski has probably gotten about that many extra to go in on deflections and good bounces. We lose sight of how big the numbers have been for these guys this year. Maybe this will help. Following is the number of goals scored **in the best year of his career** for a few recent players of note: Blake 28 Goren 34 Panzer 26 Lundbohm 32 Bonin 34 Pohl 27 Taffe 34 Wow. This freshman and sophomore have had big years.
dagies
That is pretty amazing. That means Murray is going to score 40 goals next year, right?
PCM
Also, consider who Bochenski is tied with for the national goal scoring title: Peter Sejna, the player most consider the front-runner for the Hobey Baker.
PhillySioux
Speaking of 60 goals, what are the chances there is a first team all-american on this squad? If so, who gets the nod?
sprig
Speaking of 60 goals, what are the chances there is a first team all-american on this squad? If so, who gets the nod? D. Hale, Parise, Bochenski all have fair shots to be on one of the teams. Would think D. Hale would have been a first team automatic had he not gotten sick and missed so many games through the end of the season.

This freshman and sophomore have had big years. Check out Bob Joyce's stats his three years at UND and compare his numbers the first two seasons to Bochenski's. Remarkably similar! Perhaps with both Parise and Murray on his line next year, Bochenski, like Joyce, will break the 50-goal mark. Wouldn't that be something? Bob Joyce: 1984-85 games, g, a, tp, 41 18 16 34 1985-86 38 31 28 59 1986-87 48 52 37 89 Brandon Bochenski: 2001-02 36 17 15 32 2002-03 41 34 26 60 On another note, Lundbohm is six points away from joining the century club for his career. Goon
Just to take Schmit-doggydog's post a little further. Noterman is already at the 100+ mark. Lunbohm, Bocheski and should all break the 100 point mark by next year if all remain and stay healthy. They could do it this year but they would have to rack up some serious points in the next week or two. I believe Zach can do it by next season also, it might be a tall order but very possible. Not to put any pressure on the lad. I know UND has had a bunch of 100+ plus players but there seems to be a quite few possible 100+ points for their career players on this current roster. Massen could possibly do that next year but probably during his Senior year I think James is sitting some where in the 47-50 points for his career. James has fallen off as of late.
