SiouxMeNow
Arizona's Governor is leaving it up to the people to pick the design of the Arizona quarter. Number five is the Navajo Code Talker design. http://www.azcentral.com/ent/quarters/quarters_main.html What - no buffalo in Arizona? Every 3rd state seems to have them I'd guess the Grand Canyon (#1) would be the front runner but the code talker one is cool AND probably the most unique design I've seen of any of them. PCM
Sota Iya Ye Yapi, the official newspaper of the Lake Traverse Reservation, has a great deal of coverage about the ceremony at Engelstad Arena to honor Woodrow Wilson Keeble. http://www.earthskyweb.com/news.htm The list of participants is quite impressive. Attending the honoring ceremony from the Lake Traverse Reservation were: Sergeant Keeble
Sioux-cia
The ceremony for Sgt. Keeble was a genuine ceremony for a man who was truly a here. Unlike the ceremony held for the NC$$ which was obviously a charade!
