YA know what! All I want is to have a solid performance in every aspect of the game this weekend~ both nights! Sweep! And to be able to not complain about a thing after this weekend! Maybe it will help me get into the christmas spirit Is that too much to ask !?

Has anyone noticed a change in the defense's appraoch to the rush? In previous years it seemed we shut it down at the blue line and forced them wide into the boards and then into a check. This year it seems like the D is letting them around, thus crashing the net, and like last night and previous nights, the Defensemen is forced into a holding situation and thus a penalty, and unsafe situation for our goalie. Defense needs to go back to the big hitting at the blue line, like Smaby did last year to Potulny.

You have to keep in mind, we lost our biggest defensive leader over the summer, and it's been showing all season long. I think that's our biggest problem as far as defense is concerned.

(The guy I'm talking about didn't wear a jersey either)
