Jesse Oxendine, who quarterbacked for the Braves in the early 1950s, gave the uniforms his blessing.

Here is a better look at their logo (sort of). I definately think our logo is a much more beautiful logo. But I like how they incorporated the hawk into the feathers.

Also, UNC-P does have a mascot. Imagine if UND tried to pull this one off.

What is the status with the NC$$ for this school? Seems like kind of an expensive venture to launch a new logo without having nazi approval.

We had Thunder the Bleacher Creature back in the day.....he didn't last long. BTW, if anyone has a picture of ol' Thunder, please post.
