PCM
Because of a death in the family, I will be unable to write a summary of Wednesday's Fighting Sioux Coaches' Show. If someone else wants to take a stab at it, feel free.
NorthDakotaHockey
Sorry to hear about the family death PCM. They are always tough, and will forever be tough. Especially around Christmas and the Holidays. Our thoughts and prayers here at NDHVille are with you and yours. Safe travels.
dagies
Is it true this can now be heard on the internet, and what time if so? I've had Wed night obligations but might be able to catch it tonite. Will try to give it a go, but don't know for sure if I'll be able to. tnt
Tim Hennessey said they wouldn't be having a coaches show until January 4th, and even then they aren't sure how many coaches will be there. The Sioux will probably leave early for Anchorage.

My grandfather died on CHristmas Day about 8 years ago. It's never a good time.

He Who Shoots Top Shelf
I don't really know you besides all your great college hockey stories you write, but I do know from experience that nobody deserves to lose a family member around this time. We all know they're in a better place now. Just hoping you know that all of Sioux Nation is pulling for you!

PCM
I want to thank everyone who wrote to express their condolences. I really appreciate your thoughts. My Grandma Miller died in Pierre, S.D., on Tuesday. She was 97 and had been in poor health for some time. So it wasn't a great shock when she passed away. The funeral in Pierre was nice and I got see a lot of family friends and relatives who I hadn't seen in years. We shed some tears for Grandma and we also shared stories about the good times with her. Nobody likes attending funerals around the holidays, but they can serve as a reminder of how fortunate we are to have such wonderful friends and family. And for me, that includes the Fighting Sioux family here. Thanks again for your thoughts and concern. Merry Christmas to all.
