dakotadan Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I was looking around at CollegeSwimming.com and just had a question about the scholarship levels. I was looking in the North Central Conference section which I believe is messed up unless we have added more affiliate members, also UNO is listed as an independent. But in the section it shows each school's number of scholarships and also it's budget. I was just wondering what the DII and DI scholarship limits are. School - Schollies - Budget Men's teams: UND - 3.33 - $56,299 USD - 2.50 - $28,742 SCSU- 0.17 - $10,158 MSU - 0.19 - $29,845 UNO - No Team UNK - No Team MSUm No Team GVSU 3.00 - $18,288 Women's teams: UND - 6.56 - $56,300 USD - 3.50 - $29,723 SCS - 4.29 - $14,917 MSU - 3.24 - $31,044 UNO - 5.20 - $47,329 UNK - N.A. MSUm 0.80 - N.A. GVSU 5.00 - $18,288 I just thought these numbers were kind of interesting. Does anyone know the schollie limits of the divisions? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Does anyone know the schollie limits of the divisions? Last numbers for limits I have (no guarantees): Mens DI: 9.9 DII: 8.1 Womens DI: 14.0 DII: 8.1 The numbers you list for UND are pretty close to what someone posted here one time. Quote
D1sioux Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 pretty easy to figure out why UND swimming is so much better in the conference by those numbers, dont you think? Quote
dakotadan Posted December 25, 2005 Author Posted December 25, 2005 Both the Men's and Women's swimming teams are ranked #2 in the latest poll. FightingSioux.com I also just noticed that collegeswimming.com has it's own forum section for anyone that is a true fan who wants to discuss swimming and diving. Quote
dakotadan Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Both of the swimming teams are still ranked #2 by CollegeSwimming.com. CollegeSwimming.com rankings Quote
bincitysioux Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Congratulations to both the Men's and Women's S&D teams! They got 3rd and 4th place respectively at the national tournament. Rodrigo set another record! It is indeed a great time to be a fan of Fighting Sioux athletics. Quote
