Someone please explain to me what the KenPom rankings mean for us?

And why they have any bearing on UND and the Summit League?

The Summit is a one Team to the Dance League, the end of season Conference Tournament winner!

Watched the MVC for years and they also are a 1 Team Invite, they have had 25 win Teams, never get an Invite, because they did not win their Tournament!.

That is why at least the NIT, put in that if you Win your Conference and Not the Tornament we will invite you.

What does KenPom even matter, for us?

You’re not wrong it doesn’t ultimately matter but it’s a decent way to see where we stand against other D1 universities. Also, helps determine approx where we’d fall if we do happen to win the SLT, which we would be destined for a 16.

Yep and if either SU or St Thomas win the SLT, they would be looking at a slightly higher seed. I saw a mock recently that had NDSU at a 13.

I don't know for sure, but I'm sure they will do an MRI.  If there was a lot of swelling, they used to have to wait a few days before the MRI to let the swelling go down, but I'm not sure if technology has made that a mute point now. Once they have the MRI done, they will most likely have to have someone read it and confirm or deny.  Probably a day or two at the earliest - a week at the latest.  Just my guess however.

I've been told that MRIs are part of preventative care so maybe it's not really serious.
Also - there are at least two dozen people on campus who can legally read an MRI and provide medical advice, so no - they're not waiting up to a week for results.
