ND Hockey 4 Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I'm VERY surprised to hear klenow is going to the Jets (if what you say is true). It will be interesting to see how fits in with the Jets, I think the game might be a little bit to quick for him... i maybe wrong, but this is what I gathered in the one time I've seen him and the one time i've seen the Jets play. I'm just wondering if Klenow has some family ties with someone in the jets organization or is close friends with someone because i don't understand how they can expect him to succeed against NAHL teams when hes been struggling against high school teams. If North only played Shanley and Wahpeton once like most of the other EDC teams because those games have to have a huge impact on the few points his picked up. Quote

Klenow does not have any family ties with the FM Jets organization to my knowledge. If someone has any indormation on Klenows family binds with the Jets or his social connection with them please let me know. I think if it is true that he will join the Jets after the high school season i find it possible that they are picking him up because they beleive he is a talented hockey player and may bring something to the table in the future. I do not believe Klenow has any ties to the Jets organization other than his old team mate Elliot Okland. In any case I don't think they would pick him up solely for that reason. I do agree with almost everyone on here though, as you post some very valid points. It could be the Jets are not interested in his numbers this season because they have previously seen what his potential and his capabilities are. If they were indeed picking players on this years points there would be no doubt Klenow would be left off the list. IMO, they will not allow Klenow to suit up for any games this year. It will be difficult for him to adapt to the game in any time to help the team this season, and maybe they will try and polish him for next year. If you were to ask me, he's got the speed, it's the quickness he needs. Some of that could have to do with all the time he's been logging on the ice however. It's fun to speculate though. I love this time of year. Quote

Tsiouxnami Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 My understanding is that Clark Dingman sustained a leg injury (doesn't sound like it is knee), more like a deep thigh/bone bruise. Could potentially play, but will be tough to come back so quickly. I would guess it depends on how rehab goes. As for Monson, he was not ejected from the game. . . left after getting a 10 minute misconduct, as there was about 3-4 minutes left in the game. Quote
