UNO Rules
Great Article that should be of interest to you sioux fans. Article state that UNO's athletic budget is the biggest in D2 just ahead of UND. Article also states that this would rank UNO in the top 40 of D1AA. I would assume that the Sioux would also be in the top 40. UNO has truly had a great year in the NCC. Just looking for some feedback from Sioux fans. Best of luck. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=38&u_sid=1414823 UNO Rules
UND92,96
I am surprised UNO apparently has a larger budget than UND considering UNO offers four fewer sports.
Hansel
I am surprised UNO apparently has a larger budget than UND considering UNO offers four fewer sports. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> me too, what are they spending all of their money on?
star2city
When discussing UND athletic budget, it should be considered that there are really two "budgets": UND's and the REA's. The REA''s is likely $4 to $5 million and is financed largely by hockey ticket sales. (The budgets can not be added together, as some $'s transferred from the REA's to UND's would be counted twice.) But in effect, UND's total budget is much larger than UNO's or most IAAs (and even some smaller IA schools, like La Tech.)
The Sicatoka
I guess I didn't realize how few mens sports UN-Omaha offers. From UNOMavericks.com: Mens: baseball, BB, FB, hockey, wrestling Womens: BB, CC, golf, soccer, softball, swim & dive, tennis, track, volleyball For comparison, North Dakota: Mens: baseball, BB, FB, hockey, swim & dive, CC, track, golf Womens: BB, CC, golf, soccer, softball, swim & dive, tennis, track, volleyball, hockey

Consider: (a) UNO's geography and urban base may allow some opportunities soon, that may not be available to other current or former NCC schools, (b) a new AD hired (surprised most everyone),
