Siouxperman8 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Sad to hear. I didn’t know him well but enjoyed it when we did talk. Alzheimers is a terrible disease. 2 Quote

Siouxperman8 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 When Twins won in Detroit to win the ALCS in '87 we hurried to the dome for the homecoming. 50k people rushing through downtown to get in. I happened to be walking next to Ryan and quickly told him my story of having a $10 bet at 40:1 for Twins to win AL and how my friend turned down the chance to get in. $400 was a big deal for me back then. Not sure how he got my number but he called a couple of days later to get the whole story and wrote an article for the Herald. 4 Quote
