RedFrog
Ok, first of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Rob, most people call me "Red" I'm 30 years young and I am from Devils Lake. How I got into Sioux Hockey...well, my wife has been an avid fan for quite some time, I never really was into hockey having played football/baseball/basketball all my life in a little town called Cooperstown(class of 93). Last fall, my wife and I decided to take in the Sioux/Michigan Tech playoff series at the Ralph. We had seats high atop section 315. We had an unbelievable time. October, the Sioux had their "Meet the Sioux" event on my wifes birthday, so we went. We were hooked. I managed to grab what tickets I could off of ebay for games we could attend. We must have hit 8-12 games this year, including a Badger game, and the playoff series with UMD. Now, I may get flamed for this, but I am still first and foremost a.....Bison fan(ducking), however, Sioux hockey has become my obsession. We made sure we went to Fan appreciation night on Tuesday, and thanked all the players for the great season. I have been lurking for about half the season, but now am ready to jump in and add my perspective on things. I do have a couple of questions....My wife and I have become such huge fans, that we want to get season tickets. I know there is a waiting list, but what is the best way to go about getting on the waiting list, and yet be able to get tickets? I know that donating money moves you up the priority list, but we do not have that much extra cash to play with the big boys. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Secondly, when do tickets go on sale for the West Regional to be held at REA next year? It has been great following this great Sioux team, and I look forward to following many more. I will definately be putting my 2 cents worth into this board, and look forward to getting to know some of you. Thanx! RedFrog
Siouxman
Due to your Bison background, I will type slowly so it doesn't come too fast for you. For tickets, go to www.theralph.com, click on Tickets and then on Ticket Exchange. There is a bulletin board here for people who want to sell their tickets. You may be able to find someone that wants to sell their season tickets. You will simply have to track the progress of the exchange over time to observe the latest postings. I'm afraid that I don't have great news as far as getting season hockey tickets. For instance, friends of ours have joined the Fighting Sioux Club at the coaches club level ($1100) and are still at "90 something" on the waiting list. Until their number is called, they enjoy football and basketball, but being a Bison fan, I doubt that interests you too much! The best thing you can do for now, is get your name on there ASAP, and play the waiting game. Good luck!

Siouxman
I just heard last night that the people sitting next to me may not want to renew their tickets for the coming year. I may be able to put you in touch with them and you could work out a deal with them where they would renew and you buy the tickets from them. RedFrog
Be careful, I wouldn't want to get caught doing that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why not? TheRalph.com actually has a ticket forum where you can buy/sell/trade tickets to events at the Ralph, including Hockey tickets. If there was a legal issue with it, why would they promote it? As long as you stay at or under face value I'm sure there are no problems with it. If you know otherwise, please, let me know. Thanx!!
