Let'sGoHawks!
They have been getting votes in the polls, they have a good record, they have played the Sioux and other WCHA teams tough in the past. We can't trip up against these guys next weekend.
Fedorov
I think UND needs to be worried about EVERY team they play this year.
Goon
I think UND needs to be worried about EVERY team they play this year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was at the game where BSU got beat 6-2 by Niagra, there is no reason UND should ever lose to BSU, and a loss to them would be unexceptable and rule the Sioux not playoff worthy in my opinion. #1Hakfan
Wouldn't it be ironic if the Sioux goal scoring drought continued next weekend against BSU. Could you imagine if Lane Sedivie (a kid we had commited and dropped) shut out the Sioux. He will be trying hard to gain respect. Nothing against the kid, but hopefully we can score 10 next week and get some confidence.

Almost Siembieda like. I have a bunch of friends in Bemidji that are rabbid BSU fans and the word around BSU country is that this is BSU superbowl, stanley cup. The Beaver fans are way confident and thinking they can put some smack down on the Mighty Sioux. A lot of the BSU fans think the Beavers are going to come into the Ralph and beat UND they are all but saying its going to happen. I have three cases of beer bet that the Sioux will not lose to BSU. I personally don't think BSU is that good of a hockey team. I would compare them to the caliber of a MTU. The CHA is pathetic. I can see this being a hard game to get up for. Millsy
Just what we like to hear out of you Goon. Look past us!! Sedevie hasn't played much of late, but is suppose to get the start tonight down in Huntsville. BSU won last night 3-1 with freshman Matt Climie in net. BSU looked really good after that Niagara loss (worst game played all year) and is currently on a six game winning streak and is 14-7 overall and 9-2 in the CHA. Yeah, five of them are against CHA foes and the other against Western Michigan, but you have to play the hand you are dealt and get the job done. I am not over confident about this series. It is a series the Sioux should sweep at home. But I think this is the best Beaver team we have had to play against the Sioux. Looking forward to the series again this year! Anyone up for some pre game festivities again this year. I know I met you last time we were up there Goon. Millsy Visit "The Beaverpond", the Unofficial Home of BSU Mens' Hockey <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Millsy, its ok if I look past you because I am not playing this weekend. When I was over in Bemidji tail gating before the Niagra game at Doug's brothers a bunch of the guys said that they were coming over for the series. Should be a lot of fun. I know Doug and his family are coming and I think a bunch of us are supposed to get together, it should be a lot of fun. I think heard Moose is coming over for Saturdays game. I have a case of beer bet on the game with Scott and as well as two cases with Luckie. I hope to have three cases after the Sioux sweep. SiouxMeNow
I think you just jinxed the Sioux. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> right on PCM...I'm guessing if Vegas gave odds on Tech going into Mariucci this weekend and getting a sweep - it would have been 1,000,000,000 to 1!!!! Someone has to win the lottery...let's just hope it's not the Beavers turn this weekend
siouxguyinstpaul
my predictions - 6-1 and 5-2 Sioux on top
Millsy
It is beginning to look like it all will depend on which BSU team shows up, the one that has played on Fridays as of late (looked very good) or the one that has showe up on Saturdays (almost awful). In Sedevie's defense, he had the Saturday team show up in front of him and faced 50 UAH shots. Also, on a side note, Senior Andrew Murray did not play in the third period Saturday night after a leg injury. In the post game show, they thought it was a deep thigh bruise, but would need to evaluate it more. Hopefully he will be able to give it a go next weekend. Sophomore first liner Luke Erickson (stress fracture) and Sophomore second liner Ryan Miller (broken wrist) are also out as of right now. Goon, I am sure quite a few of us Beaver fans would show up at a local establishment if one is set up. I can post it over on my message board if needed. Heres to a good series and I am hoping you don't get Scottie's or Luckie's Beer!
