kramer9
I was just surfing USCHO and on the message board they are saying that Friday nights Sioux victory is going to be aired on FSN. Directv still has Timberwolves basketball scheduled so does anybody now if this is true or not
CoteauRinkRat
I highly doubt they are going to be on FSN.
Fetch
Why isn't it on TV Would it help if they get a Gazillion phone calls
CoteauRinkRat
No one is broadcasting the game, I just heard Tim H. say that on his radio show.
sprig
There is a Gopher game that is not on because of the TWolves game. Usually those games are then shown tape delayed. Can't believe that FSN would cancel both to show hockey from Duluth. Unlikely.
redwing77
Why would they? Cancel basketball coverage to cover hockey? Nope. FSN might if it were the Gophers playing instead of the Bulldogs. No offense to UMD but FSN is just as biased towards the Twin Cities as ESPN is biased to New England.

MoneyLine
Don't you think WDAZ would like to receive a gazillion emails asking them to pickup the feed from WDIO? sports@wdaz.com Don't forget to wish Pat the Puck Head a speedy recovery. MoneyLine
Just received a reply from Pat Sweeney WDIO yesterday added Friday's game, but because of the lateness of the decision, and other reasons, WDAZ is not picking it up. WDIO is doing the game with a make-shift crew, and it would not have been possible to do Friday's game with our own announcers. WDAZ is carrying Saturday's game only, as is WDAY.. Both games are available on webcast at www.theralph.com Neither game will be on Fighting Sioux Sports Network. (I don't know if Engelstad Arena has any plans to pick up the Friday game for the cable network.) Friday's game is not available on satellite. Thanks for writing. CoteauRinkRat
They should pick up the game and put it on the FSSN, who cares who the announcers are.

Fetch
I'd pay extra To midco if they would show it we don't need a anouncer - just listen to Henessey on Radio - most do anyway

iceberg
The Fighting Sioux Satellite Network (FSSN) is another way for Sioux fans to see the games, and who dont live in the GF area. The home games that are on cable are also broadcast via satellite (KU Band, which is different than Dish or Direct). Same game, same feed as the cable people see. You buy the equipment and there is no add'l fees. You only can see the games and the Sioux Illustrated show. Here is more info on the satellite http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1583
Sioux Fan
Ok, I'm confused. This is what I have (the satellite) so if the game is on WDAZ does that mean it is NOT on the FSSN, meaning I would not get it on satellite. If I am thinking correctly if the game is on Midcontinent Cable (ch. 23) that means it will be on the FSSN? I scheduled a ski trip this weekend thinking I would be safe because the Sioux were not at home. Need to know if I need to set the VCR.
