sagard
If I were a Sioux fan, anything less than four is a disappointment, anything less than three and the McNaughton is no longer a lock. That said, DU doesn't have the skills to get a point this weekend. Sweep them and let them lose out. Berkhoel will face 40 both nights I'm guessing. The Sioux need to take care of business tonight, regardless of whether I want them to or not. This is their chance to put some good distance back between them and UMD. Of course, all us UMD fans will be watching and waiting for the Sioux to screw up, but I find it highly unlikely that they will. I predict Denver will finish 7th in the league. sioux fan in phoenix
I predict Denver playing clutch and grab hockey, with Adam allowing it and penalizing our players for fighting through it. Speaking of which, USCHO WCHA Correspondent Todd Milewski dedicated a segment of his weekly piece to officiating. It sounds like WCHA refs are feeling the heat from not just Sioux fans but from many places: WCHA officiating

No.
Fedorov
Obviously I didn't see the UAA-Denver game, but there is nothing wrong with a penalty in overtime or any other point of the game. The rules are meant to be called the same throughout the entire game, regardless of the score or the players involved. I wish this happened all the time, including in the NHL. It is a sad story to hear when the ref told the UND player that it would not have been a penalty in the 3rd period.

No. I expect incompetent leadership from my elected officials but I draw the line at hockey refs!
