Since this bowl game will now be WAC vs MAC, Boise State being in the MWC likely won't be a participant. This website would probably get a lot of hits if it was up. It would have been neat to have the Potato Bowl be against ISU. Hopefully going forward in the Big Sky, we can have the Potato Bowl against ISU every year that they play in GF. Maybe we could work out a traveling trophy for the UND/ISU series that relates to the Potato Bowl. 2012: do not play, could possibly drop our FBS game against San Diego State and bring them in Sept. 15? 2013: Sat, Oct 05 @ Idaho State 2014: do not play, we still have 4 open dates, could bring them in as a guarantee game 2015: Sat, Oct 10 vs. Idaho State, possibly switch this game to an away game to continue home/home rotation The Potato Bowl could rotate between GF and Pocatello. In the years UND/ISU play in Idaho, we could call our usual Potato Bowl game/week the Military Bowl and use it as our Military Appreciation game. The team that wins would get their school name engraved on the trophy. In the years that other schools won the trophy, they could have it to display until the end of the academic year and then return it to UND.
