I've said it before and I'll say it again, in another year or two, this defense is going to be dominating. The biggest omission from the first team in my opinion was Stattelman. In the NCC-only stats, which presumably are the ones that count in terms of choosing all-conference teams, he ranked first in receptions, second in receiving yards, and third in touchdowns. It is always tough to choose these teams, because there will ultimately be someone who deserves to be on the team, but doesn't make it. That was my year as well. I'm Kyle Hanson BTW. EGF swept GF in all boys sports that year. 1998. Edit: EGF didn't lose a single game in hockey or bball to GF.
