UND tied for the most first-team selections with seven, and three of those first teamers are only sophomores! I've said it before and I'll say it again, in another year or two, this defense is going to be dominating.

The biggest omission from the first team in my opinion was Stattelman. In the NCC-only stats, which presumably are the ones that count in terms of choosing all-conference teams, he ranked first in receptions, second in receiving yards, and third in touchdowns. It's hard to believe those numbers don't merit one of the three first-team wide receiver slots.

It is always tough to choose these teams, because there will ultimately be someone who deserves to be on the team, but doesn't make it.

Wish they would've. EGF would've won the state title in FB and hockey my senior year being lead by Palmo. :p

Who are you? That was my year as well. I'm Kyle Hanson BTW.

EGF swept GF in all boys sports that year. 1998.

Edit: EGF didn't lose a single game in hockey or bball to GF. I don't remember FB being played between the towns that year.

Sweet! I'm the one, the only Dirty Dirk! :D

If EGF played either Central or RR that year, they didn't lose.

Somehow I always knew it was you.

dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty Dirk. Did I get them all. Hurry up and graduate. It's hard typing dirty that many times. :p
