I dont think this will be a quick hire for Mary. I have talked to several sources that say the process is taking alot longer then they had wanted because it has been hard for the committee to meet do to "scheduling issues"namely their AD Roget Thomas being out of town a lot do to his being on several D2 national committees.

Am I surprised that there are 2 of the 3 candidates with UND ties no. Now this is jut my opinion but it seems that U Mary wants to be like UND.

Why would Mary want to hire a coach that had just been fired from another school in the conference? One that finished below them.

You are correct - Rico was not a finalist. I should have pointed that out!

I assume the poster was referring to Rico - there wasn't another NSIC coach let go recently, was there?

Good luck to the U of Mary. After the list of losers Randall brought to UND, the climate around UMary campus may change considerably. Sorry, just not a fan.
