UND92,96
UND definitely avenged the loss to Seattle from a few weeks ago in which the Sioux blew a 5-point lead in the final minute. It would be interesting to know whether UND was ever in the picture for Salley (Guinn's high school teammate) when she was deciding where to transfer from Minnesota. She's a good player. the green team
The guys on the radio broadcast tonight said that initially Sallley just chose to go to Seattle for school and wasn't even playing basketball until the coaching staff saw her in a pick up game. Apparently, when she left Minny she thought about hangin it up- but after the Seattle coaching staff saw her in intramurals I guess she had a change of heart. After seeing her tonight- you can tell she is a very good player.

You know...after listening to both games on the radio...wasn't sure who our announcers were for...Salley may be a great player and I can appreciate that but we are losing two of the best players to ever wear a Sioux jersey..I'd rather talk about that...to Miss Guinn and Miss Kimbrough...thanks and best wishes!!! UND92,96
Seattle defeated USD in Vermillion yesterday. It should be an interesting tournament next weekend. I haven't seen pairings yet, but I'm guessing we'll see UND-Houston Baptist, and USD-Seattle in the first round. Both UND and Seattle are 7-1 vs. other first-year transition teams.
