Wow that was about the most pointless article ive ever seen. But I guess that's what you gotta expect from the Forum. They would rather dwell on that than actually talk about something good that NDSU has done lately. That is if they have.

the same article was in the Herald with no more information. It isn't really old news as they were suppose to be heard on Monday but that didn't happen with the new judge request.

Why was this going in front of a District judge? Should it not have been in front of a Municipal judge?

Couple explanations would be like who arrested them, a Deputy or a PD Officer? Maybe in Forks the District judges handle Municipal court too?

Disorderly Conduct is a B-Misdemeanor in Grand Forks, right?

Just wondering.

There was a blurb in the Herald sometime last week that said the case was being moved from municipal court to district court. It didn't give any explanation for the move - maybe had something to do with TJ still being on probation.

A lot of times the cause for this can be that, since they plead not-guilty, they requested a jury trial. Jury trials are only held in District court. Municipal court only has bench trials(judge is the jury).
