  1. I got to say studs has been pretty sharp today. This bye week helped a lot. The whole team looks completely better and are playing focus. Some of those penalties were the only sore spot of the day

  2. So are the students going to riot after they find out we can't use the Blackhawks hawk logo?

what a waste of everyone's time and money for the final logo to be the fighting Hawks........

there is 0.001% chance of Roughriders winning the next vote

  3. Running the table, finishing 7-4 and making the playoffs would be huge steps forward for this program.

finishing 6-5 would be a huge step for the program even if we do not make the playoffs. Winning last weekend resurrected the season. Without that win being 6-5 wouldn't feel as good.

  4. I can't wait for nov 13! We have a good future UND football fans whether we make the playoffs or not . I also think studs has proved to us that he is the  go to QB . He made the passes when it counted. A 7-4 season with no playoff birth would only leave this team wanting more and next year they will be even better.

  5. Our great rushing needs to continue and I think will have no problem. I think there is a real possibility Santiago runs for over 200. All we need is for the few passing plays to be successful and then we should be able to play the offensive shootout. All our defense has to play is good. They don't need to shut out msu but they need to stop some drives. This game is when we will see certain guys step up and show their development. We also need to create some turnovers and it's bound to happen with our luck. If we also quit fumbling the dam ball it would help greatly. Thank god this game is at home!

  6. the new guy at NDSU came in, rushed for over 100 yds, threw for less than 100 and won. Their fans are ecstatic about that.

UND fans have a starting QB who was 4-1 and had similar stats and were calling for his replacement cause he wasn't getting the job done.

    Ill take wins over stats.

studs is not going to wins us games with the passing game like he has against good teams. That is literally ever playoff game. He obviously is good enough against some poor big fluffy defenses

  7. And our wins were not lucky this year???? Give me a break. What would that say about FCS football if we made the playoffs this year. We need to get better and improve on these lacking positions

  8. Great excuse.  Yes because Robert Morris is clearly fighting for a spot in the playoffs yearly but teams like New Hampshire, Eastern Washington, Sam Houston, etc. aren't.  Nice you name the bottom feeders.  So because you are playing big name schools makes it harder?  No

there are bottom feeders performing well in both leagues so I don't get what point you are making.

  9. Like SCSU, Bemidji St, UMD, Michigan Tech, Quinipiac, and on and on and on. LMAO.

and jv football teams are much better? This is like discussing minot jv hockey versus minot jv football. Who cares

  10.

Talk about one stupid post.  How do you know he's overrated at the NFL level?  They have him rated fairly high for the draft prior to his injury so they obviously think highly about him.  6'-5" 230 pound QB like him would be huge if he develops in the NFL

there are so many other QB's out there it will be hard for him to make it to the top. I think this game day hype has made his name bigger. But you never know he could pull a flacco

  11. Really? And why did you choose today of all days to bring that up? I think we both know the answer to that question.

I said that on day one when this draft discussion first came up. You guys were the ones talking about Wentz. I don't think this injury will hurt his prospects because a wrist injury is nothing compared to a knee etc. sorry I should have waited for the end of the bison season and not his. My bad

  12. While I hate NDSU as much as anyone else on this forum, this is classless and tasteless. The kid just had his season ruined and that is nothing to celebrate. Cheer against his team all you want (I sure will), but don't cheer against the player.

Please don't stoop to Bisonville's low standards of decency.

I don't think you get my point. I don't care if he goes down with a season ending injury or wins another national championship; either way he is overrated at the NFL level. not cheering at all about his injury

  13. Poor Carson Wentz . Hope he has enough memories of the good ole days because life on the practice squad starts next year just like his good buddycrockett . I see Zach Zenner tearing it up for the lions...... Wasn't this what Crockett was supposed to do ? Bison players= overrated jv football stars

  14. Not sure why this hasn't been named the NDSU thread. I would venture to say 75% of the posts on this thread have been about NDSU. Anytime NDSU is in a close game, Darell1976 start the posting and usually guys like you get all jolly when they get beat. I honestly think you guys care as much if not more about NDSU getting beat as you do about UND winning.

Is this a bad loss? Ya maybe, but it is a Valley team. USD was horrible last year, but they showed the ability to compete as evidenced by the Montana game. I would honestly put them at the same level of ISU-B in 2012. NDSU went on to win the championship after that embarrassing loss.

At the end of the day, NDSU is still one of the handful of teams that could compete for a national championship. The team that showed up and absolutely crushed Weber, Sundog Nation, and SDSU would beat any FCS team in the country. After those games and the UNI game, I think the entire team, including the coaching staff and fans, thought this game would be a gimme. I don't think they will be making the same mistake again.

    get out troll
