  1. What difference does that make in being named to preseason all Big Sky team? UND's claimed strength for this season is the defense, but not a single player considered worthy of preseason all Big Sky?
  2. Tre will have larger numbers this year than Carson due to the type of offense they run. That does not mean he is a better prospect. The preseason all Big Sky team was announced last week and there was not a single player named from UND. Every team had at least one player but UND, Weber and Portland. I would be more concerned about that versus Carson Wentz being a honorable mention preseason all conference selection.
  3. Both of my grandpas put their lives on the line overseas so that we didn't have to grow up in a world controlled by a brutal dictator. Nice try.
  4. Ya I am really bitter about it. The BSA is going to be one of the nicest basketball arenas in the upper Midwest, and the seating in it is perfect. It is also quite a bit larger than the Sioux Center, so I don't get your Jamestown Civic Center jab. If NDSU had an individual, who idolized Hitler and and Nacism, and he was willing to donate $100 million to build a new football stadium, I would hope the university would decline and try to distance themselves from him. Anyone who dresses up like Hilter and gets a painting done of himself, is a sick !@#$. Millions of Jews died because of Hitler and that sick !@#!$ dressed up like him? I would be embarrassed to play in an arena with his name.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=2286820 It WAS the single largest donation to NCAA arthritics at that time. Since surpassed by T Boone
  6. The Ute tribe didn't find it racist, hostile and abusive. There are some Sioux who found their tribe being used as a nickname to be racist, hostile and abusive. If some Sioux found it to be racist, hostile and abusive , who am I, as a non-Sioux, to say it isn't? If I was a Sioux, I certainly wouldn't want to hear chants of Sioux Suck !@#$ while trying to watch a game.
  7. Sure every school has had a piece of !@#$ associated with their University. With that being said, Ralph gave, at the time, THE LARGEST SINGLE DONATION IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE ATHLETICS! He is not just some guy who went to UND. He was a racist piece of !@#$ and he is tied directly to your University and was a gigantic driving force behind spending millions promoting and defending racism at UND.
  8. I find it extremely unlikely that this will happen , assuming everyone is healthy.
  9. If UND gets beat by 14 points , it will be a toe to toe victory and a whole lot of we played right with you.
  10. Pretty crazy you guys are trying to call out NDSU for its funding of women's athletics and feel like it is some sort of travesty, but your university has spent millions upon millions defending a racist, abusive, and hostile nickname that many of you still cling on to like it is your life. You Univeristy has also praised Ralph Englestad for his philanthropy to UND and ignored the fact that he was a racist Nazi sympathizer. I'd worry more about separating the stigmas associated with your racist university before making claims that NDSU is sexist.
  11. NDSU's athletic program was 38.60% subsidized last year. UND's was 56.09% subsidized. Despite having hockey programs, revenues and expenses were very similar. NDSU took in $20,712,638 in revenue and had $20,618,838 in expenses. UND took in $23,815,870 in revenue and had $23,936,729 in expenses. The fact that really sticks out is subsidies. UND had to take on $13,357,249 in subsidies compared to $7,994,050 at NDSU. Part of this difference lies in student fees. UND rapes their students to run their overbloated hockey programs. I think athletic student fees are $213 a year at UND compared to $78 a year at NDSU. After you factor in this difference, UND needs approx $3.5 M more per in direct institutional support and state money. Maybe NDSU should charge students more money and take more state money like UND does to satisfy your wishes. In the meantime, I look forward to the ass kicking Bubbles and his mighty Fighting Hawks will get this September.
  12. The same rules do apply to NDSU as everyone else. Maybe NDSU should get the same level level of subsidies as UND does so they can be on the same level. Last year UND received nearly twice the subsidies for their athletic programs as NDSU.
  13. Why do you care what NDSU does or does not do in regards to women's sports?
  14. You guys are the most pathetic fan base I have ever seen in my life. You could care less about women's sports at NDSU. You guys will do anything to try to drag NDSU down rather than to try to lift your own programs up. It is pathetic. Sundog nation better get ready for the ass kicking that is coming this September.
  15. I meant to say it is discriminatory.
  16. I don't have any issue with NDSU and their funding level for women's sports vs men's. I personally think Title 9 is ridiculous. It is anti discriminatory.
  17. So how exactly does NDSU, who is in compliance with Title 9, and their support of women's sports have anything to do with the 2015 game to be played between NDSU and UND? You guys spin !@#$ and make distractions away from football anyway you can.
  18. Yes I was referring to the 2013 season's championship played against Towson. The Sam Houston State games had about 17,000 NDSU fans, similar to last year. In any case, all I was trying to say was that it would be a rediculous notion to share revenue when I guarantee you the majority of that revenue would be generated by NDSU fans. There was a reason why GT drafted the 2015/2019 contract the way he did. NDSU had a good system in place of playing 1 FBS team, 6 home games, and having two bye weeks. It was a good formula for success. He wasn't going to F that up by giving UND a lifeboat to get fans through the gates of the Areola Center. I suggest UND make a serious attempt to join the Missouri Valley. If they did, I would then maybe support an annual game in the Vikings Stadium. I don't see though how it would benefit NDSU financially. We already sell out a 19k stadium every home game and the rent on the place is $1. Even if you were able to sell out a 60k Vikings Stadium and split revenue, I think it would be a wash with not getting concession revenue and paying rent.
  19. That just proves the point that Bison fans have been trying to make for years. The state of UND football depends upon playing NDSU. NDSU does not need to play UND in order to have success or fan interest. NDSU fans have proven that they will travel. 30k fans at the metrodome in 2007 for the Minnesota game. 19k in Dallas for the 2013 championship game. The other FBS games have regularly sold out our allotment and more. There were about 7k fans at the DAKOTA dome last year against USD. Most of those Bison fans purchased tickets for the previous game in order to get a ticket. UND has never shown that much dedication to football as a fan base. I struggle to see how you think it would even be close in attendance but after all, playing NDSU has always been your Super Bowl. As far as the premium goes, they could be charging that price for all tickets and it wouldn't make a difference. UND could give out tickets for free, and I don't think it would cause any more fans to show up.
  20. UND struggles to get 8k at the Alerus Center. I find it extremely hard to believe that UND fans, who don't care to go to home games, would put effort forth to go to the Vikings Stadium. We don't have to discuss that possibility. UND has already agreed to play at NDSU for pennies. Splitting the gate at the Vikings Stadium, in which NDSU fans would grossly outnumber UND fans, makes zero financial sense for NDSU.
  21. We were talking about Bison and Sioux football. College hockey is completely irrelevant , both to this discussion and to 99% of college sports fans in general.
  22. All things aside, let's not forgot first and foremost UND ended this rivalry. They were pussies and didn't have the balls to move up when NDSU did and made a public announcement, right after NDSU announced their move, that they would discontinue playing NDSU in all athletics. Again, UND ended this rivalry. Keep your stupid nickel trophy if it helps you guys feel better about your mediocrity. NDSU has 12 trophies that are far more important than the nickel and can display them forever.
  23. Dude....they lost the God dam game. Once they fell behind late, they did not have the capability of getting into field goal range fast enough, which was caused by the offense they used. If the veer was a great offense to use, you would have more than one P5 program using it. Last but not least, Georgia Southern no longer uses the triple option. They abandoned it when they decided to hire Fritz.
