  1. Yeah that is now 3 stops on 3rd and long, nice to see.
  2. Nice stop D......now pound it offense! Maybe Seidl with a long run would be nice.....we need a big play!
  3. I do think Romfo may be playing conservative and not want to make a mistake on a longer pass though, so he is pulling it back down. Frustrating, but better than an interception
  4. And if that is the case, that is a problem.
  5. NDSU and SDSU will figure this out and test us to make a pass over 10 yards. OL looking good though. Definitely reason for optimism there.
  6. Very Tommy ish
  7. I loved our offense there and taking what you can get. However at some point you have to be able to complete a pass more than 10 yards down field. How is it that they had a WR wide open down the middle in the red zone without a defender within 5 yards. We can't get that the entire game anywhere on the field when we are on offense.
  8. Ok, other than that long pass we hsve looked better than them.
  9. Wow what a lucky bounce on that punt ugh
  10. Is that really possible lol
  11. 3rd and long, can we hold them twice on 3rd and long?
  12. Pawluk who?
  13. Nice throw by Romfo on that slant, nice to see
  14. I hope Romfo is just too amped up. Looked horrible throwing.
  15. OL had good start, QB not so much.
  16. Romfo 0-2. Ugh
  17. Either of the SU DB's knock that first pass down ans changes the whole tone of the beginning
  18. Well on thr bright side we had that deep ball covered well
  19. It's on FS1 if you have that
  20. QB bootleg with a run pass option on first play is my call.
  21. Let's Northern Iowa these guys!!
  22. Do we run up the gut on our first play?
  23. The best we could hope for is probably like 34-17, but I'm thinking 42-10 and I'm thinking they have 24 at half
  24. So by default, the top three QB's for UND (before Feeney left) are better than the Michigan State QB right....because everyone at UND thought the bench guys were better than Tommy, who is now better than Michigan State starter Ok so Im at the bar and just having fun here so cut me some slack for this post lol
  25. So you are saying that Ummm was you then eh? When I first heard that....I too was a little like.....what....you are going off completion percentsge in practice. So if Romfo throws 10 screen passes in practice and jas 100 percent completions he is better...I too was like WTF. He did say something along the lines if I recall that Romfo had more explosive plays with less attempts or something like that. He also did say those were just one factor and other things are looked at. But ya when I first heard that it made me take notice too. We will find out tomorrow if the right choice was made for QB as there were big implications from it. Not gonna lie....in my head when I think of Romfo I think of.....much better runner than Tommy, same arm strength but not as good of accuracy.....and when I think of that I'm like.....ugh. But this is only in my head as I've never really seen Romfo throw, and is why I asked the question the other day asking how strong of an arm does he have.....but nobody replied. While Tommy didn't have a strong arm, he was very accurate on short to mid distance throws and generally made good decisions.
