  1. Ryan Mantha getting some praise by The Hockey News http://www.thehockeynews.com/blog/nhl-prospect-hot-list-baillie-battles-haters/
  2. Nick Schmaltz gets 4 assists and a +3 rating as Green Bay beats a really good Dubuque team. Ryan Mantha doesn't do anything really for Indiana as he just gets credited for 2 shots. Hayden Shaw gets a -1 rating as Waterloo loses. Cam Johnson on the bench again.
  3. Ryan Mantha gets kept off of the score chart but is +1 for the game. Chris Wilkie gets an assist but a -2 rating tonight. Austin Poganski is a -1. Christain Cakebread also -1 as Fargo gets destroyed 7 to 0. Nick Schmaltz assists Green Bay's only goal. Hayden Shaw took a checking from behind call, misconduct and roughing for 14 penalty minutes. Cam Johnson on the bench tonight. Slightly disappointed in lack of playing time for him. John Simonson scores another goal tonight but gets a -1 rating. Tucker Poolman stays even with no points. Zach Yon was on an unofficial visit at the game tonight unfortunately.
  4. Hes at Sioux City now 7 points in 35 games this year with a +8 rating. Seems to have had a lot of potential in his younger years but it just seemed to drop since he played for the U-17 team
  5. 1. Nick Schmaltz has the most potential by far 2. Shane Gersich would probably come in at two in potential very skilled player. 3. Tucker Poolman probably D-man of the year in the USHL tons of potential. His dad will get him a lot bigger too. 4. Cam Johnson is 3 and 0 since he got traded and is alot better than his Fargo stats show. Back-up to Goth when he gets here. 5. Chris Wilkie has showed this year that he can make an impact. 6.Ryan Mantha is another big bodied D-Man 7.Trevor Olson is a big bodied power forward. 8. Christain Evers is a few years away but looks the part of a physical D-Man. 9.Hayden Shaw has the tools to be a good puck moving plus/minus guy 10. Christain Cakebread is playing for a really bad team but is still really young.
  6. Yea I saw that it was out of date but figured there must have been some interest in him at some point. Seems to have had a lot of potential originally but looks to have drop somewhat significantly.
  7. I was looking at the wiki and was wondering if UND truly has an interest in nikolas olsson anymore. It's kind of hard to see if he still fits in in the next year or two.
  8. Hayden Shaw gets and assist to help Cam Johnson get the win. Johnson makes 26 saves and gives up one goal. Chris Wilkie gets a -2 in the same game for Tri-City. Poganski took a contact to the head pentalty and game misconduct as well. Christian Cakebread gets and assist but a -2 rating for Fargo. While Simonson gets a goal and +2 rating to go with 7 penalty minutes for fighting and instigating. Ryan Mantha gets 2 assist and a -1. Tucker Poolman gets an assist and +1 rating for Omaha. Nick Shmaltz gets a -1 rating for Green Bay. Zach Yon gets an assist in a loss to EGF.
  9. I like this class because of how short on time we were. With that being said there might be two or three guys that can make an impact eary, Simmons, Hannible, and Carter. Walker will contribute but I don't know if he comes in right away and has a huge role. I think that the top side is good but talent wise maybe not the best we have had. I think that we got better young men than football players at this moment in time (Dev Ferguson for one who has some good talent as well). I think that if Bubba can build off of this class location wise (Michigan, Missouri, Illinois) we will be fine. This isn't a throw away class but once he gets a full year of recruiting we will be getting better players. We did get alot of really good athletes but not many true position players.
  10. I think the back up job is cams to start but Matt will make a push. I have heard some about Trevor and I think he is a power forward type. And tucker will move the puck but more of a two way guy than a offensive dman
  11. Cam Johnson, John Simonson, Tucker Poolman and Nick Shmaltz would be my guess. If Jordan Schmaltz leaves I think we get someone that's not committed for defense or bring in another forward (Trevor Olson or Chris Wilkie)
  12. Yea I would be very surprised if Jack Rowe ever makes it to UND. I do think that Pelnik has much better chance to make the roster than Rowe. Though Pelnik might not be more of a Panzarella. I see a lot more upside in Luke Voltin than I do in Jack Rowe though
  13. Shane Gersich gets a goal in today's game versus Finland today
  14. He was moved to the affiliate list hopefully he can gain some confidence there. Might need another year of juniors before he gets here.
  15. Luke Voltin is being sent to Minot.
  16. They by all means might be committed I know all were in campus the same time football bad all of there big first recruiting weekend. The first for sure signed letters of intent Emily Smithson is confirmed as signed LOI And the Stillwater girls are confirmed. Joining the @UNDsoccer family today with @liz_mc16 and @tracymather pic.twitter.com/MI2172Tclv — Natalie Johnson (@nmjjohnson) February 6, 2014
  17. Soccer also got some signatures yesterday: Aurelie Overson from AZ, Sydney Bravek from Brooking, SD (Dakota Alliance Soccer Club), Sabrina Majerczyk from Scottsdale, AZ (F/M) all signed letters of intent. Some names that are committed but I don't know if they have signed are: Maia Lundstrom (Goalkeeper) from Hill-Murray High School Zoe Berlinquette From Duluth,MN Played for Shattuck St.Mary's There were also 5 others that have taken campus visits: Natalie Johnson, Lexie Andres, and Tracey Mather from Stillwater, MN (all Defense) Emily Smithson from Grand Rapids, MI (Defense) And Liz McDonald () know nothing else about here I personally know that Shattuck St. Mary's is not only a very good hockey school but a very top end soccer school. And the Dakota Alliance in South Dakota is one of the best soccer clubs in the Midwest. And it looks like Emily Smithson plays for the Grand Rapids Crew in MI. But it looks like she played varsity soccer as a freshman and played a for many club state championships.
  18. Both of them are 2015. Got'em coach didn't necessarily say they were 4 guys for this year
  19. Would be great if he was one. But I think if he has a strong senior year fbs teams will be knocking on his door. Grant perry might be a good one too.
  20. Yea i just saw that now it looks like it just wasn't announced https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BfuqvPRCMAAfrUd.jpg
  21. Hartley has signed with wayne state it looks like https://twitter.com/TH10_ERA After looking more closely it was just a verbal not confirmed he signed
  22. Reid should come in and be the kicker from day one with Mitch punting. I am guessing they just want competition which I like that they have that option. Competition only makes the current guys better.
  23. Love this get only have heard great things about him. Do you know what USHL team he would go to?
  24. A name that I havent seen much but SFI is reporting as a verbal is a CC guy named Nikorey Benyard 6-3 210 LB from CA. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1730169/nikorey-benyard
  25. Demon Taylor from St. Louis nose guard
