Think of the last four non-FBS quarterbacks selected in the first round of the NFL Draft: Joe Flacco (2008), Steve McNair (1995), Ken O’Brien (1983, played against NDSU for UC Davis at Dacotah Field) and Phil Simms (1979). Three of those four QB’s played in the Super Bowl.

I think I will go with what the guys who cover the NFL for a living rather than a couple of haters. Wentz is going to have a nice NFL career.

Wentz has been the talk of town in Mobile. Amazing a kid from our small state of North Dakota could possibly be the first QB picked in the 2016 NFL draft. NDSU owes him for all the free publicity. Never mind. I think he will be just fine financially in a couple months.

Get ready for a ton of Wentz talk nationally with the upcoming draft. Of course it has started already.
