For those planning on using Lyft or Uber beware of surge pricing. I love both services but when you go to or leave a sporting event, lots of time they kick in with surge pricing which puts a minimum price on all rides. It can get a bit steep.

Probably true for that week in Dec. I stayed in NYC for 6 days this past December for $250 a night in Times Square. By the time we got there the cheapest in the city was over $500 for places my wife would stay.

The Sheraton Suites by the airport. I have 6 staying in my room so the suite was a necessity Was $199 now $179

Waiting on airfare for now as I think it will drop even further as the first week of December is a remarkably SLOW time for the airlines. Hotel is a heck of a deal however as normal rates in NYC go through the roof.

For anyone going to Tampa, I just rechecked hotels and found a larger one (suite) for $20 cheaper than I booked it a week and a half ago. I would say keep checking up to departure time as I think the hotel gouging backs off if rooms go unfilled.

If it's not already, I believe that whatever constitutes a constituent should be written in the schools constitution!

Airline tickets to TPA were very spendy seeing as I am taking 3 people with. Bought out of Fort Meyers instead and saved $700 on 4 tickets. 2 hour drive but worth it.

I'm not surprised that they made a strong offer to a 1st rounder that could have been a free agent next year. That said, He will probably spend quite a while developing his game. He has the skills but takes too many shifts off. I wish him the best.

Some of you seem to think that winning a championship is easy. All we need is the right coach and our history and fancy arena will bring it home . With Championship programs like UND, it's easy to get spoiled as a fan and think that it's an easy thing to do. Each year a program makes it to the Frozen Four that hasn't been there in many years (or 30 years like Providence). The Minnesota Vikings haven't managed to win a Super Bowl after years of trying, many owners and a ton of new coaches. Hax is a great coach who grooms upstanding, competitive sportman that this alumni group can be proud of year after year. I've never been embarrassed by one of his teams. I can't say that about all the fans.

Personally I loved the first few rows of the club level on center ice at the X. Best seats in the house to watch a game. I bought six across section 211 in the second row at the Target center. Based upon the seat viewer these should be pretty close to the same seats. Remember when you are looking at the seat view photos that a basketball court is only 94' long vs the 200' hockey rink.
