Looks like a great deal of excitement this year. Big fan of Women’s soccer at all levels. Parents - most sports are wonderful for children. However, I have a soft spot for soccer which is one of the best sports for your children. Get to the game. Sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun this year.
Are “Captain Practices” taking place. If so, has anyone heard any rumors of how the players are bonding and who is making big leaps since last year (or for new players who is exceeding beyond expectations)?
No matter your year, you earn your spot. Freshmen, have as much right to play based on their effort, quality of play, attitude, skills, lack of stupid plays, and readiness. We also need to get playing time for younger goalies to get ice-time. Give goalies starts or at least time in third period. Only exception for play is Senior night.
Like the pipeline comment. We need to build trust with locations and get our coaches out to these areas. Nothing is better than personal communication.
Well we will have a better idea of lines a few weeks after the season starts. Need Swanson will his passing ability to play with people that can finish.
Been at both the current Twins Stadium and the Big Mushroom Stadium (as my little daughter called it). I miss the old stadium (the Big Mushroom) for baseball. As a family we had many fond outings there. Not the same atmosphere at the new Twins stadium. The little kids at the Big Mushroom are now in middle age. Memories of Twin’s game are so much more enjoyable when you take them to a game when they are children! Long live the memories of the Big Mushroom!!
I know he is 19 and likely coming in after one more year. Being drafted has to be a good lift in confidence. This draft pick could be a great addition to UND.
