  1. I think that San Jose relies too much on having a powerful offense. They lost a stud QB, their leading wide receiver and now their leading running back for this game. Not to mention their o-line isn't very experienced. 28-24 UND with the upset.
  2. This team needed guys that could play right away and I think that's what Bubba is doing. I'm willing to be this year will be the only year we see this many FBS transfers.
  3. Hopefully since they are dropping down from FBS to FCS they play with a chip on their shoulder. He looks very athletic. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/590121/highlights/17519385
  4. This is pretty exciting to me! With this addition, a lot of people may underestimate our defense. An FBS transfer at corner, linebacker and defensive tackle should provide a lot of depth, experience, athleticism, competition, etc. Looks like Jenkins-Moore had offers from Arizona, ASU, Arkansas, KSU, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
  5. Welcome! I honestly think your son will be a HUGE difference maker right away. With him, the defense will be tremendously better. Looking forward to seeing him play in person and bring winning football back to grand forks!
  6. i've seen a couple different articles lately about Greg making plays during camp. he just might make it if some of those plays can come on returns..
  7. Though I'm not expecting a win, I think it is possible. Their scouting report on us will be a lot different than the product they actually see on the field. So, if we can catch them off guard and get ahead early before they can make adjustments, it's possible IMO.
  8. interesting.. http://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/jonryheem-peoples-reportedly-transferring-to-idaho-state/article_8f1cb67c-0707-11e4-9b0a-0019bb2963f4.html
  9. Welcome!! Hopefully your son will be able to step in and contribute right away in the fall! Looking forward to a much improved running game.
  10. If Greg and Dressler both end up playing in the same division this year I hope it motivates our current roster even more..
  11. Heck let's try to get both of the Tennessee players that left the team, OL and the WR..
  12. i think the future of the basketball program is bright. i really like the guys coming in. even though most are expecting the team to be down in the big sky next year, i think they will be around 3rd or 4th for most of the year next year. i think the post play could only get better (because it was not existent this year) and that will add a lot of balance. hooker will have a year of experience under his belt, tyler should provide some scoring, and more playing time for stefan will help his shooting. hopefully we can get some production from shanks (which i fully expect) in Jan. also, i don't think the team chemistry was that great with this years senior class to the point where it would get frustrating to watch. i think that will change next season.
  13. these two drop down transfers will help a ton, especially since they are on the defensive side of the ball. good job to bubba at the staff!! does anyone know if they are looking at any other drop downs?
  14. this makes me happy!! the impact this will have on UND's athletics is going to be HUGE.
  15. Thanks for the input! Just a little concerned. I'm looking forward to that thing being done as well!
  16. I haven't seen much work going on around the site, how do they expect this to be done by fall?
  17. looks like blackmon had an offer from wyoming as well http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Dominique-Blackmon-149716
  18. which of the previously named players were out of new jersey? kevin maurice tweeted something about a green and white sighting in new jersey and welcome to the family..
  19. wow traylor is stepping up big time so far!! great to see!
  20. off to a pretty good start so far. Webb did start btw
  21. Very true. But i'd say out of the last 6-7 years that Grafton could have made it to state in class A in 2 or 3 of them. Heck I think that 2008 Grafton team could have did pretty dang well in the class A tourney.
  22. just another thought: a lot of the times the class B guys have been playing with the same guys since they were in 5th grade, how often does that happen in class A? sure a few players on each team, but i would guess that it happens a lot more often with class B teams
  23. I'd disagree that Grafton would get killed in class A. I don't really think the separation between class A and B is as big as class A fans like to think. This year i'd take Grafton over Central, Devils Lake, Valley City, & Fargo North. Also, Grafton wasn't even the best team in Region 2 this year.
