  1. I agree if we start 3-0. We would definitely be top 10. I don't expect that, 2-1 would be a good start. We will be huge undergoes. I was already been given UND +19. I took it.
  2. This season will be a telling season on how far we have developed as a D1 talent. I believe we have a chance to make the playoffs and make a run for the Big Sky title. Both will require luck as far as injuries. But more importantly how much we have progressed from last year. We could end up a 5-6 or 8-3 year. Counting on winning Drake UC Davis Portland St N Colorado Need to win these to have a chance at playoffs or title run Mont State Weber Idaho St Absolutely need to win one of the following to make playoffs or title run Wyoming NDSU Montana Cal Poly I believe we will end up at 6-5 or 7-4. 7-4 season will be hard to achieve and 8-3 will be fantastic.
  3. The depth chart for the cowboys. The have a bunch of youth in the 2 deep. http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/wyo/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/2014-15/depth_chart_non_event/4-13-15_depth_chart.pdf
  4. Midco had a nice special last night at 9pm on UND spring football wrap. Both Bubba and Rudolph were interviewed and you can see they were pleased with the spring workouts. the team has made much progress from last year. A person almost forgets where this team was a year ago only about 6 or 7 OL practiced. From the interviews with Reyes and Studsrud most of the players will stick around this summer working out. The season looks so much brighter this year.
  5. I suggest you book your rooms for Laramie now. I tried to get the Hampton and garden inn. Both booked solid. I'm staying in Cheyenne about 50 miles away. Friday is a monster truck deal and a josh brown or some cowboy singer giving a concert Friday or sat. look like a big party.
  6. I'm getting excited for the Wyoming game after sat. anybody going to that game.
  7. Just my observation but I thought Studsrud was better. first defense is tough as nails. the second did give up a few 3rd and longs. a couple of those was good presents by Studsrud. Clive is good. the receivers seemed to catch more passes today. Seibel made some nice catches. Dion Harris looked very good. Bolant made a couple good plays one interception. although needed to wrap up on one play as the receiver got away. Tank Harris and Ceislak will add nice depth.
  8. I'm so looking forward to April 25th. Driving to GF to watch the team and see how it has developed from last fall.
  9. http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfoot2/news/news.aspx?id=807887 Short article but nice to read and wish for the season to start.
  10. Apparently not everything is bigger in Texas. they rank 41st.
  11. Opposing QB's mothers will not like to hear that.
  12. If I can get tickets yes. I don't think I will be lucky enough. So probably watch on TV.
  13. season tickets on sale. I plan on getting my 6 seats again this year. I will be at all home games. Plus the Wyoming and Montana games. Really looking forward to posters keeping us up to date on the team as spring practice gets under way. What a difference a year makes. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209921378
  14. I agree one game at a time. I plan on being in Laramie and hope to bring a group.
  15. The Bobcats are making changes to their defense and mentioned how much UND improved in one year. I found this post and a few others like it. from the bobcat nation fan board "I was hopping somebody would bring this up. In 2013 UND's defense was horrific, new coach, new scheme and ATTITUDE and they were among the best in the Big Sky just one year later. It can turn around and turn around very quickly. If UND had any offense they might have won the Big Sky last year. Watch out for them, they are building something pretty good I think!" Bubba has made an impression.
  16. Yes. Pretty stout front 7 and should be better this year. Secondary should be much better as well. Scoring defense should be lower if we don't turn the ball over on offense like we did last year. Very encouraged with the recruits we are bringing in.
  17. Some interesting stats from last. NCAA ranking for 2014 Defensive stats(rank) UND NDSU MSU UM EWU POLY 3rd down conversion 55th 18th 97th 73rd 86th 96th 4th down conversion 61th 51th 52nd 32nd 70th 61st 1st downs 28th 55th 112th 98th 114th 79th Red Zone 45th 92nd 81st 13th 110th 115th Rushing 5th 22nd 88th 37th 65th 73rd Scoring 56th 3rd 100th 19th 90th 75th Team passing eff. 108th 5th 96th 50th 81st 93rd Team Sacks 16th 18th 94th 7th 58th 111th Tackles for loss 6th 72nd 111th 36th 85th 109th Total Defense 34th 5th 114th 39th 95th 80th
  18. Two interesting reads on Watford City school http://www.watfordcitynd.com/?id=10&nid=3080 http://bakken.com/news/id/232893/growing-pains-oil-boom-turns-prairie-school-melting-pot/ It is amazing what is happening in the Watford City school.
  19. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/change-illegal-man-downfield-rule-could-boost-defenses-010948370--ncaaf.html Interesting article on this. Question, How will this rule affect or offense and defense? Montana's new head coach Stitt is quoted in the article. Montana will have a different offense this year from past offenses for sure.
  20. Good one. Another one could be road grader. Because is going to clear a path for sure.
  21. No I don't. Grady has all the tool to be a very tough match up for any of the teams in the Big Sky. Grady may not even play next season. But he will be fun to watch as other teams defense try to handle him. I think Grady will plow a few holes for first downs. Brady O will enjoy following for first downs.
  22. You are correct the sky is the limit. However the Big Sky is not the limit for sure. His playing time in the Big Sky is going to be fun to watch.
  23. I bet the deer was trying to run away from him.
  24. Can you say tackle eligible
  25. I really like Bubba's confidence in the recruiting process. This class will be special and some will step in and make us better from the start. Our defense will even better than last year. The offense will chew up the clock with big play options when needed. So looking forward to being in WY and getting our first win next year.
