I have enjoyed so much of this season. I expected to be 3-2 at this point. I'm very impressed with the improvement in offense. Not just from last year but game to game(exception EWU). This team can score and had weapons. BB our WR. The flare pass, shovel pass with bubble screen will help open the run. With Rooney back I expect better rushing results. Defense. DL was a big question. They are performing better then expected prior to season. Still need some improvement. LB. Quite good other than Fargo and EWU. DB are the best we have had in D1 era. For years we only had one outstanding DB per year in the Big Sky. Now the very best CB's and good Safeties. The 2016 Big Sky champion team won games that just one or two plays the other way and we not only not win the Big Sky but have a Ave season. Last year we lost games by one or two big plays. What I'm trying to say is just a few plays every game separate winners and losers. Players need to step up. Last game CJ real stepped up. Kett had a great first half. Stepped up the last drive. Brady stepped up and the rest on the snap team. It's about players making plays. I have a very good feeling that players will step up the rest of the season. I enjoy us winning close games even if we miss a few plays and teammates turn around and pick up the team with a play and win games. It is exciting. I real enjoyed Sam Houston and UCD games.
