  1. But he also could call plays that doesn't have his QB trying those long passes he can't hit.
  2. All the big plays that occur on 4th down against our defense are short passes against defense seeking out on the run. Our offense 4th down is always undersize RB up the gut or going for long ball with a QB that consistently has not be able to hit the long ball
  3. He has not been accurate on those in recent weeks. Single coverage, not even giving his receiever a spot to draw a PI either like every other team does on 4th down.
  4. Why do we not have any QB under center short yardage plays? Give the RB a head of steam by the time he has the ball? Or even better get a FB or TE to lead block.
  5. WR found the gap in the zone, I thought the underneath guy who had no coverage and could've caught the ball in stride was the option, but Jerry had WR eyed the whole play.
  6. was a good return, Punter got him. Gave more effort than most punters (or qbs) on that tackle. He actually went high, and luckily for him he was able to grab as he slid down the body. Lewis still had his arm behind him from shredding the last guy.
  7. Needs to quit looking for the big ball, like he acts like he has to immediately throw a huge ball anytime we lose momentum
  8. Our 3rd quarter is like SDSU 1st quarter last week...
  9. Like we get away from things that work and just go back to things that everyone know that we will do. Even our long touchdown was on quick slant pass. Now they do a quick pass that would've been 5 yards short of a first down anyway on 3rd.
  10. 69 knew he wasn't helping his team and his backup would preform better...
  11. Why does Seidel have to only have inside dives called? Also, we don't ever use fullbacks do we?
  12. Every loss so far have the same script. Don't take advantage of opportunities that should have a larger lead. Bad coverage leads to a drawn Pass Interference to give life to the opponent, they score, get momentum and UND fall apart? Like, somehow the not fumble just killed us. That and 3rd quarter offensive calling that been a problem all year.
  13. Why were we trying to stretch the field on a medium to longer pass there anyway?
  14. Wait how does the secondary completely bite on the the QB fake, read the line and the lead RB blocker who all were not turning up field and looked to be clearly setting up pass defense.
  15. Their guy can make the catch off the outstretch fingertips.
  16. Contain man off the edge went inside the TE/OT, no contain.
  17. The underneath guy looked back for the ball, while trying to make up yardage and the terrible underthrow definately drew that. If he wasn't yards behind the receiver prior to that he could've been in position to intercept that duck.
  18. I see them plenty at the high school level. We can have separate kicker for Kickoffs and FG if they think that the one with the leg isn't accurate enough.
  19. I thought they implemented a few years ago booth reviews that didn't require the official to go over every time. I understand for like this possible fumble to go to the headset, but the reviews of ball placement etc I thought were supposed to be called down to the ear piece.
  20. Should be able to get it into the endzone on kickoffs inside domes.
  21. How much I miss the Bo jetsweep or even his bubble screens, as well as the Skokna sweeps.
  22. we get 6 on first down, then miss the throws on the receivers twice. We don't seem to do any jet sweeps or sweeps with pitches. Have guys with speed, but always keep them inside or delayed sweep handoff...
  23. its possible. Wasn't even a full arm shove or anything like that. Looked like one of those I'm going this way and somebody stepped in front of me and a little move arm movement. I'm sure the long conversation was about "really we are going to enforce this?" and the one who flagged it would not let it pass. And that typically leads to the others having to back him up as that is what the rule says, and its part of their crew.
  24. typically in these situations we go pass, pass, run, punt. So atleast they be changing it up.
  25. I don't think that warranted an ejection. However, I do know alot of rulebooks state any non-accidental contact with official is zero-tolerance. Not always enforced. I know with officiating hockey that was the way the rulebook was written, however, a situation like that I would not call a ejection causing penalty.
