  1. They review that, but not the potential fumble in the first half? Interesting.
  2. Interesting that the possible fumble wasn't reviewed when the commentators were so sure that it was a turnover. Then we shoot ourself in foot on next play.
  3. Now i wish we would've tried for 2 on that last TD
  4. A few teams in the polls ahead of UND lost. And UND 2 losses are to a top 10 undefeated FBS Iowa State and #1 NDSU (most likely) 1 loss and undefeated against FCS team. Need to find a way to win these roads games coming up to keep up with this and steal atleast 1 of the 2 home games against the Lower Dakota teams who will most likely be top 5 yet at time of game.
  5. I meant to say only football, and hockey have on site for all games. Altru had on site for all home events. But they do have a athletic trainer assigned to them FT. According to their roster under coaches they have listed https://fightinghawks.com/sports/womens-soccer/roster/staff/rhiannon-vandegrift-dat-atc/2144 If there is not a on site team physician during home games they need to speak with Sanford, that would be a lapse of coverage compared to Altru who would have a physician from the Family Med next door come to alot of events.
  6. I am fairly certain the soccer program has a FT Athletic Trainer that is with them at all home and away games as well as practices. Their request is a team physician who I believe only Football and Hockey have on site for all games home and away. Not sure how the Sanford deal plays into this. Altru used to provide a physician for all home events.
  7. Even WDAY said on replay wasn't really much on the "hit". He barely got a piece of him, pretty much went flying over him. If Cam doesn't stumble as he goes down causing him to pop forward, he probably doesn't even get touched. there
  8. How nice it would be if we could consistently put our kickoffs deep in the endzone instead of allowing every team to have returns, or illegal kick out of bounds.
  9. you have him all alone, get settled and drive through him, no reason to dive and go high.
  10. NDSU could've had another late hit driving Seidel to the ground way after whistle and he had given up
  11. Sacramento State to build 25,000 seat stadium in hopes to join FBS (sactownsports.com) Sac State is serious about intentions to go FBS, and is planning to make investments to their athletic facilities
  12. letting the foot off, but still have our 1s in. Not sure why we aren't giving reps to our depth chart at QB. 24 lead in the 4th and we haven't done much offensively this half anyhow.
  13. We take what we have so far. Feel much better then our pattycake games against Drake, or our closer games against Drake. One thing that helps us is ISU is a quick pass team. Our DBs have played well in that aspect this year, its the longer throws over the top that have burned UND, but ISU does not have a good enough OL to give their QB time for those to develop.
  14. After 2 negative yardage QB draws, you would have to expect a quick pass, most likely slants, and we keep no LB home to play the slant. Our DB was over the top and not inside. Easy quick slant TD for ISU.
  15. I take that interception over the previous one!
  16. Idaho State loves to taunt
  17. I believe this is only the 2nd D1 player from Pierre in history, South Dakota born or raised alone do not have very many. Power has developed a few SD natives in recent years so interesting to see one make it to the UND level now.
  18. I would also think a University in Vancouver would draw much better for Hockey then they do for American FB. But they also are competiting against the CHL for fans...
  19. TBH I'd rather be playing UIowa.
  20. Sure looks like a good group of western universities trying to drive interest. Simon Fraser places NCAA in other sports don't they? In long run with no Pac 12 anymore, the conference realignments can be crazy for hockey if some of these come in. I'm sure the NCHC would love to drop Miami for any of these western teams.
  21. The map of organizations is also ironic in that they list Minneapolis, MN, but the team icon is posted around the Fargo area (if I remember right, I know it was on the ND/MN border).
  22. I will have to look for a flyover style photo/video. But our old turf at Memorial was 100x better than the DakotaDome at USD.
  23. It feels like the Fargo Regional Offside call, Would've been game winner in OT, which would've ended the series, like they took the safe route and lets just say nah on this one and see how it plays out. Only argument they could have is they could say his momentum was going to have him continue back into the goalie, which I don't think it would've. I can see how the ref on the ice can make that call in that moment to initiate the review, but not that it wasn't overturned.
  24. I could see Miami and WMU being on way out or swapping. WMU is decent in the league as a quality program. Miami has been down for a few years after a couple of strong seasons and believe they would like to cut down on travel.
  25. I feel this would be the pathway, besides Fenton being at the Summit may want to bring them in. But I feel like there was a closely affiliated league in the past with the WAC(?) or something of that matter where in some fashions they were considered one entity but in others they were not. MVFC and SL has a semi agreement this way as well. Might be along the lines of giving priority for acceptance to Summit League teams and allow them not to worry about if they started hockey what conference they would be in. Mankato, Bemidji, and Duluth do not want to go D1 outside of hockey. I believe the MN university system forbids any other instate public university from having D1 football in competition with UMN similar to a reason UNO had to drop FB when going D1 to not have affect on Huskers football even if FBS and FCS being different.
