  1. Wildfan...you mentioned your seats are in row 4..what section? Of course I'm sure there will be many of "us" in the crowd, but would like to get my tix where most Sioux fans are sitting :)

They will be scattered about like they were supposedly last year. My group is in Section 126. Sorry for late response.

  2. Now you will see SD score because they we running to play out the clock and not run it up...tic for tat...Jesus Hammer quit saying ND state!

I thought he said ND State too, i was like no way i have voices in my head. Atleast now we got that straightened out.

  3. To me the keys to where we ended up in the game now, besides obviously Zenner.

Pass Interference on UND, which seemed like a call that should never be called, didn't see any interference.

When getting into the backfield, ND are going deep, even when SDSU is running inside, if you run down the line you possibly get a hit on the side of zenner knocking him off balance, instead of letting him drive through you.

Turnovers. Tough anytime where you are losing the turnover game, expecially if it is by more then 1.

QB's need to slide, you are not a running back, if you get a good chunk of yardage, slide, protect yourself, protect the ball.

  4. How are they letting one guy beat them? Well, one guy and his offensive line....

Pretty much one guy. and a little help on some weak penalties. Seems like they are getting penetration, but not stopping Zenner.

  5. lol k. im sure the fans caused that...not miscommunication in what sounds like a church.

Even on TV where the Crowd noise for hockey games isn't very loud, you could hear the Crowd, looked like SDSU had trouble hearing Sumner on that play. So yeah must be a odd church you attend.

  6. I got my games for UND at UNO Nov 9th. Row 4 Aisle(had row 3 in my cart but waited to long for a member of the party to respond) in the UND double attack corner. Was at the Battles on Ice last year, and hopefully its a fun atmosphere again! Plus they better win as expected as if they don't I know the Gopher fan who lives with me in Sioux Falls will give me a hard time when i get home.

  7. I have noticed that WCHA officiating has been miserable for the past few years, alot of them try to even things up alot. I saw some of that on Friday night with the UND-BU game, and saturday night with the Minn-Mankato game, which had little things being called early in the game, and late in the game when there are some obvious penalties, nothing called, they seem to not want to be a part of the outcome, which they actually are by not calling it by the book.

  8. I saw the end of the game friday while at work on Midco, and the video actually looked really good, there was one angle that looked a little dark looking into the corner, but all the others looked clear and really good, expecially on the empty net goal, the facial hair stood out nicely. But I was watching in Sioux Falls, which is Midco's main headquarter so that could be something, but it sure looked alot better then there SDSU football broadcasts. They did alright the last few years with the SDAHA state tournament so I believe they will get it all straightened out shortly.

I noticed when watching Wild games last year on FSN(non-hd) on my 32" hd tv the video was really blurry, and hard to watch at times, same with CBS on NFL sundays, so even top channels have problems now with the SD feed, but hell anything beats the quality on the screen in Mankato's rink, that thing looked ancient, as my brother took me with him to the Gopher-Maverick game.

  9. It will get better, well hopefully. I went to the Gophers hockey game today and that rink was maybe 3/5 full with a empty 1 of 2 student section, while other was half full. So its possible for any team to have times of less attendance. But if it just isn't a program that is exciting to watch or performs well then they won't come.

  10. For a sport that lost fans over the years it will take time. What needs to happen for the student attendance is to have peers talk about the game with friends, tell them to go. That will most likely start from lower classmen just starting in college that hasn't known UND Football for the past few years, and by the time they are seniors, they will be able to lead, and underclassmen will start getting excited if they see upper classmen going week in and week out.

A touchdown horn or siren would be sweet, and I think what would be good is to give some students incentives to go out and promote, find some of the people that stay for full games, and stays engaged, and give them a bunch of posters, and have them walk around campus promoting. I know UMN has done this(they were doing it last year when I was on a campus tour, hell they were promoting tennis or something like that as well), also I haven't been in Grand Forks much, maybe one weekend over the past few years, but I didn't see anything promoting or showing off UND football or anything UND besides hockey inside the restarurants I went to.

  11. The broadcast looked good last night but I have midco in Sioux Falls. Looked alot better then the FSSN broadcasts i seen on Midco in the past years, they need to get a smaller onscreen score board, that thing takes up too small of room. Its needs to be like Fox Sports North style, small in the upper corner, or atleast thinner and stuck to the top of the screen like on NBCSN, The powerplay graphic takes up quite a bit of room.
