The B1G has said they will not add woman's hockey because the WCHA is so strong compared to everyone else. I don't see Notre Dame joining the B1G in hockey, I'm sure the ACC will find a way to stop Notre Dame from joining the B1G in any capacity.

Looks like the new rumor from GPL is that the B1G is interested in UConn for hockey only.

I've been told that Yost won't expand or be replaced because it's the right size for the amount of people attend games there. Yost still has a good atmosphere for its size and looks like attendance has been stable there compaired to Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I wouldn't be surprised if the B1G is or has had talks with UND about being a hockey affiliate in the B1G. UND isn't dumb and would have asked would they get dropped from the B1G if enough member institutions added hockey in the future. Who are the B1G looking at to boost the competitiveness and profile of the conference in hockey. And would UND get equal say in decisions on the hockey side of the B1G as full member institutions do, like Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin...

I think the attendance issue has more to do with Gopher fans that hate the B1G for destroying the WCHA and that might have something to do with Wisconsin having poor attendance too, albeit a very small part comepaired to the product on the ice.

They still haven't finished the stadium expansion. She knows how to get money for Montana State.
