I'm sure the fans and the men's team would like to have 3 straight weekends at home heading into the first round in he NCHC tournament, then at home on the road because of the state tournament, then back home for the final weekend. And when the men's team is out of town the women's team should play in the evening like they do. It looks like the state tournament is moving out of Grand Forks for good and money is the reason why, Scheels Arena has two sheets of ice.

The University gets priority not the North Dakota High School State Hockey Tournament at the REA. The women's team shouldn't have to play earlier or play in a different arena when hosting the Women's WCHA Turnament games just to benefit the state high school hockey tournament. The Men's team shouldn't have to be out of town when they should have a home game to benefit the state high school hockey tournament. Someone on here has said the attendance for the state tournament at the REA has been poor, if Scheels Arena is fuller for the state high school hockey tournament then have it there. The REA will make more money any weekend the men's team is in town over the state high school hockey tournament.

There is no lack of talent on this team, there were more Freshmen on last years team then this years team and they won a National Title. The problem is this team doesn't do the fundamental things you learn in Peewees and Bantams. Can't make tape to tape passes, can't hit a player in stride with a pass, can't hold the zone, can't clear the front of the net, can't win puck battles, no puck support, can't establish a net front presence, can't go to the net on a 2x1, 3x1, or 3x2, don't win 50-50 pucks, can't get the other team out of position on the power play, etc... Gornell crashes/goes to the net against St. Cloud he gets 2 goals. I didn't see a whole lot of that this weekend. This was the first time I saw UND get out worked physically, it was like the team hasn't worked with Poolman all year. Wolanin needs to change what he does on the blue line with the fake shot a couple crossovers then a shot, teams know he does this all the time. They guys need to do the things the did to get UND, and stop worrying about the name on the back of the jersey or their draft pick position and start playing for the name on the front of the jersey and this fan base that shows up to support them no matter where they play. If they don't want to be here sign a pro contract and let the guys that want to be here come here.

BC is somehow leading Hockey East, if the NCAAs were to start today they are in and UND is out.

UND is getting swept. If they play a full 60 they don't get swept, but they can't play a full 60.

Watch him do something to get an extension, like win the WCHA tournament or somehow make the national title game (if he wins the WCHA Tournament).

Berry needs to show leadership by watching film and correcting the consistent mistakes that Starman points out during broadcasts. I see lack of game planning, lack of getting a power play that works, and lack of film study. I don't care how good Shaw power plays are in the NHL, they are not working in college hockey.
