Arizona State should have split with Michigan, and probably could have won both games.
Some observations of the Michigan/Arizona State game. Potter is fast and an elite skater, but ASU doesn't have anyone that can play with him skill wise on his line. When Lucius gets back that will help Potter on his line. Potter needs a guy he can get the puck to that can bury the puck. They are aggressive on the points during the pk and look for those shorthanded breakaways. on the pp they are not as good as last year when they would have Kopperud on the right dot waiting for a one timer. One thing they did a lot on the breakout on the pp was forget about the forechecker and dop it back to the trailing defensemen just to get picked off but the fore checking forward. Homer is a bit aggressive and does lose his net when over committing to the shooter. The back door is usually open or just shot low far side for a rebound and it will be in the back of the net. ASU wasn't playing the body as much as I'd expect, but they will get chippy when down. The twins did fall for the bate Michigan was setting them late in the game.
