Not getting stabbed in class at UND vs ASU

Next time they do another job posting for the head coach: Don't make it a 3-day search. Don't be scared of the portal during the search, the assistants should be talking to the current players and recruits to keep them there. Take their time getting the right guy not the most convenient one. Don't have a part that says, "you have to have a connection to UND." That basically makes the pool of coaches very small. Having someone not from the UND family breathes new life and new perspective into the program. Don't have a specific amount of years coaching in the NHL/NCAA. There are plenty of coaches that have experience at these levels that are coaching in the CHL, USHL, and AHL, but don't have the specific years' experience asked for.

They want Herley gone. ASU just took the head coach from GCU's woman's basketball team to coach their woman's team. I was funny last year when GCU had the best basketball team in Pheonix Metro. The football one I never understood, the ASU fan base acts like they were the USC/UCLA/Washinton/Oregon's of the PAC-12. When reality was, they were at the bottom most of the time. I don't think Kenny will be at ASU for a long time, Cardinals might come calling sooner than later.

Next head coach needs to take a page out of the Carle recruiting book and lay a plan out year to year with each recruit and how he sees them contributing to the team.

Like it was said there was no point in firing Berry if Jackson is the next head coach.

After the ASU weekend I knew he was done at the end of the season. All the former coaches there in the suite definitely weren’t happy.

Hak endorsing Jackson would be my red flag of nope. Dane could end up like Albie at BU. A big mistake of hiring someone on the staff.

People not happy with what he wrote but he's right. When the white banners start feeling like a participation banners with the lack of success in the post-season, a change is needed.

Don't know, but UND need to stop handcuffing themselves behind their backs and actually do a national search. They need to stop with job posting to a specific guy they want. Schneekloth and McFarland would be my top two choices
